At age 60 this is the 1st year I have skied regularly (except wet Feb one outing) all 12 months of the year in WA - and I feel better/stronger than I have in years and never fell out of "ski shape". So once you get back in to it, "SKI TO STAY IN SHAPE TO SKI"
@swc5150 when are you coming to the PNW? Liked your promo clip, would love to see a show and give you a pull! The Tulalip Casino would be a great venue for your band.
I have a baggy; I put my vest on over a t shirt, then a sweat shirt over the vest, then the drysuit. I feel like the drysuit binds more when worn against the vet, under or over. Also like having a dry vest to hang up when done.
So if we are decreasing time before CL, we are increasing acceleration to CL? Does that put a skier like me (make 50% of 15 off 32mph) at more risk of going out the front when I don't get back to a good stacked position?
What a difference 2 weeks of warmer weather make! Warm hands, warm feet, skied two sets this morning. Think it's time to put the dry suit away - hooray for spring skiing!
Landon, treasure your friendship with guys like Luca! I have known my best friend since 4th grade (1968) and we have skied together since 1976. He's a stand up guy like Luca, and helps to make me a better human being when I'm around him. BTW keep up the awesome skiing!!
@Chef23 my wife got me a membership at Hilltop XMAS 2017 because she recognizes skiing is good for my mental health and so makes me a much better person to live with when not on the lake - yes, I found an extremely special woman :)
