The only drawback of gopro is that you can't zoom in while recording. Correct me if I'm wrong. It just records too far away.

Regarding the Nautiques, one of my ski partners has a 2019 and if no passengers he has to put 200lbs of wgt. on left side to balance the boat. Is this normal for some of you with the newer Nautiques? I have a 2017 200 and I put 40lbs on one side to balance and it has a sweet wake. Agree with @Horton, it's a very hard wake.

Currently, a skier can run passes below maximum speed and scores 6 less till maximum speed is achieved. I'd like to be able to go out at a higher speed than what my division calls for and be able drop my speed for the toughest pass. All bouys counted at division speed.

@beuchsr Let me suggest to you that they were the good all days and it went away when we let the other sports share in our revenues so a few could go to the Olympics. How about the hundreds of thousands of dollars invested in building a lake and for Hall of Fame and then walking away from it. I can give you a long list of AWSA screw ups but that's not what this thread is about. Since your profile is hidden I don't know how long you've been around, but I have since 1977. Could someone tell me what the financial status is of this organization?

For many of us it's not the safe sport issue alone it's a culmination of things that awsa has done over the last 25 years .I gave up my membership after 2008. Looking back over the last 13 years of awsa only reaffirms that I made the right choice.

The system sucks for some like Chad, for example, Bill Ayers bombed NYC police headquarters in 1970, the US Capital building in 1971 and the Pentagon in 1972 resulting is some deaths. He never spent a day in jail! I agree with others that the present political attitude toward law enforcement may have contributed to his down fall and lengthy sentence. Hope he appeals.
