  1. @MarkTimm I thought you were buying the creamsicle.
  2. Vieke. Noah coaches with Chet. Vennesa got third at Moomba.
  3. @Than_Bogan good drill. Keep thinking of driving the right knee forward, don't think of up. That and the straight left arm will increase the energy into the pole. Another drill that is really good is a two step plant with a coach pushing you forward at the shoulder blades. Keep both arms straight and keep left leg back while you elevate a couple feet off the ground. Ideally someone strong that can hold you up for a few seconds, then come back down. Just like skiing you want to create energy/angle rather than trying to get to the bar/ball immediately.
  4. @jjackkrash, thanks for the pic. That boat is an awesome piece of history. Pulled the '74 regionals at Radar Lake. I was lucky enough to be at the show with legends Eddie and Sully telling stories and hanging out by that boat.
  5. @Wish, There is a 0 ball. There was a bit of a learning curve on timing. We figured out to press start when the skier started the glide during the pull out. It shoots slightly forward but you are unable to see the mark in front of the boat like in the course. It is easily picked up coming through the wake/edge change. Lots of potential for coaching/learning as you get GPS generated timing. You can also adjust the width of the "bouys" for beginners.
  6. Skied it with Brooks last week. Amazing training tool for those who don't have access to a course. Allowed me to work on technique with accurate timing and not worry about hitting bouys. The forever mode was crazy. Made about 30 turns knowing where to turn. Game changer!
  7. Two of my favorites together if you are in Seattle on March 9th. http://seattle.bourbonandbaconfest.com/
  8. If there were a glossy flyer I'd be happy to hang out at the Wiley's booth for the weekend and talk with people about USAWS and how to get involved......
  9. @klindy, love the idea. Almost everyone I speak with about skiing tournaments and even just the course are both intimidated and don't know where to, or how, to get started.
  10. LFF on all things water, but RFF on the mountain bike for some reason
  11. +1 for the Radar bag. perfect size to travel with all your gear.
  12. I have put Radar plates on a Syndicate to try it out. I tried to use my carbon sequence plate and the back holes didn't line up, but the individual plates did.
  13. I skied a VTX for years. Thanks for posting - brings back memories of a younger body!
  14. I think he has been watching me at 4 ball although I do it at 2 also
  15. I agree with @scotchipman. This time of year it seems to be way more work to establish width. Leave the fin and decrease wing. I switched from 9.25 to 8 degrees about two weeks ago. Our water is about 60 degrees.
  16. @"Keith Menard" sometimes the range of motion of a good crash loosens things up - at least until the soreness kicks in....
  17. @eddie_roberts_jr you forgot to add - after repeatedly asking what happened even after seeing the video multiple times
  18. When I DON'T need to go to the chiropractor.
  19. +1 for Sun Valley! World class biking - they hosted mountain bike nationals a few years back.
  20. @JohnN look me up when you get to town and I'll try and get you out. Weather looks dicey - if is too sucky we can just go mtn biking
  21. Skied it a few times in tourneys. Nothing remarkable feeling but my scores were a bit lower than average.
  22. Agree with @davehr40. I have size 10's and can get the back boot pressuring the front. I recently moved it to the next hole back and like it a bit better.
