  1. Sweet rig! Hope your nuts are well taken care of......
  2. 3M Fast tack. Used for attaching auto logos and trim. I have used it to attach tubular cyclocross tires. Bomber
  3. @ericw, I put a box in at the end of our dock when I was vaulting in high school and through college. It was a ton of fun, especially watching my non vaulting friend give it a go!
  4. @ToddF I'm in on your triathlon! Those are my three sports although I haven't vaulted for about 30 years. Sounds like an injury waiting to happen. (that was my original thought when reading @Than_Bogan 's original post
  5. Wasn't he in the best movie ever?
  6. I was working at Wiley's when the Carbon V came out. It was the coolest! I remember Paul Wiley's sarcastic sales pitch - "And after you are done skiing, you can pick up garbage with it!"
  7. +1 on Katana or Butterknife. I'd pick the Katana as I feel the performance is a bit higher. Good surface area for deep water starts too.
  8. I had my daughters try it and it was amazing. They went from being able to spray all the balls in the course to running it at 25 mph. Good width for lift at slower speeds but plenty of performance. Quote: "This ski is so much better!"
  9. HO Mach 1 might make the list. What about the tunnel design of the Torque Supercomp!
  10. +1 FOR THE CAMARO. Its like magic. Mine is on its third year without fail.
  11. I had the same issue after breaking my rear ankle. I have a double vapors and just put a heel wedge under the footbed inside the liner. I believed it was helpful for getting me back on track. For a RTP there are a couple of good options. If you have access to extra pad material (similar to what is the footbed on your existing RTP), bevel it and add to existing pad to get desired lift. You could also take some binding rubber (or any kind that's not slippery) for that matter, and glue it to the plate. Sand/ shape accordingly. Aquaseal would be a good adhesive.
  12. I'd say yes on a couple levels. As the rope gets shorter there is less room for error so the adjustments have more of an effect. Also the shorter line skier is more in tune to what the adjustments do.
  13. @cragginshred is there cold water in "Cali"?
  14. I didn't get anything done at work today thanks to this! Miss those days
  15. Animals are tough for wide feet as the footbed defines the width. If your feet are truly wide call Wileys. The hardware is fixed to the plate, not the footbed and allow for more width. Worst case they can make you some custom bindings.
  16. I've been clinging to summer with every last fiber in my body. Looking forward to winter, but this summer was a grand one, both with weather in the Pacific Northwet and a good year of skiing!
  17. +1 for 69 as 71 is too big. You will love it!
  18. Grab the larger piece and pull cords to tighten. Pull the smaller inner piece on its own to loosen. It will disengage the cord and the whole unit will slide.
  19. Ripple. The glass feels so good but my knees don't like to bend.
