  1. Very disturbing pics, each one paints a tragic picture. Gonna have nightmares now of our lake looking like that one day.
  2. Not that I really want my $5 but I think one can conclude that the weight of a ski/skier would displace the bubble bouy, based on the afformentioned photo. I guess people see what they want to see.
  3. Done, this is a no brainer. I would do this for a webcast of a pro or MM/Big Dawg ski tournament too.
  4. I agree with Schroeder, we need to have video at Regional and National tournaments. With the stakes this high, we need to be able to get it right. Like instant reply in the NFL. Skiing is fast, its human to make an error, but there is more we can do to make sure the outcome is correct.
  5. Horton, just send me $5 by paypal, unless you want to do double or nothing on which is better: wing or no wing? I'm going wing, majority votes.
  6. Because its a bubble bouy, that call would be impossible to see in real time. If the ski is not disrupted and/or you do not see the bouy clearly outside the ski/spray, you give it to the skier. Its easy to judge based on that pic, but no one is going to catch it. Based on the pic, she is riding over the bouy. I will take Horton's bet, with Richelle as the final say.

    Hey MS

Agreed, Mr. Matt Brown. He has no problem turning that ski without a wing either. But he's Matt Brown.

    Hey MS

Based on the witness mark, it looks like you removed the fin just prior to the picture. I say the fin was at only 7 degrees, which is crazy.
  9. Horton skied solid, 3@38 both rounds, ended up in the amatuer head to head. But that is when it went down hill a tad. I think I lost a bet on him too.
  10. - The open women walking by in their tiny bikinis did not suck - Watching the MM was insightfull but also confusing. Too many different styles to choose from - Nate Smith and Will Asher are human, I was starting to wonder - Drinking beer, watching great skiers and gambling makes for a great afternoon - The powers to be need to do a webcast like that of all pro events / Big Dawgs. - The Bedals are awesome
  11. Great skiing, thanks for posting. Nano!
  12. I thought it was pretty damn good, just think how good he would be if he had a wing.
  13. Yea, Horton's form is just about perfect. I am also suprised he isn't busting out a 38 here and there. It'll happen soon I bet.
  14. Than, no kidding, wow. Regarding that handle motion that auskier mentioned. I noticed that too AND I noticed that Mapple and Bedal do the same thing. They stand tall, push the handled down and then back up as they complete the turn.
  15. Gaj, they do work, period. I've broken a ski before but it wasn't a Goode. You can certainly get more than two seasons out of a Goode, I see several skiers on a 9600, 9700 and even a 9100, all skiing into 38 off. They do not hold up to other skies cosmetically I suppose, its really easy to mark them up. But they aren't quite breaking like some people may think. My wife just got a Fire mid and skied into 35 off on the first day she tried it, that is pretty good for her. Again, they work.
  16. What is he doing so good? I say early edge change no matter what, doesn't pull to long (same thing). Very balanced and patient. Oh, and he freakin gifted, hate him. I also heard from a guy that skis with him that he is not known for his coaching....at all.
  17. Klundell, that is stout skiing, running 38 at 36 mph, nice work! I haven't seen too many people on the 63 Nano, is it a mid or regular, and how much do you weigh? Just curious, I love my 65 mid, but I'm at 34 mph.
  18. I ran it a few times in practice in 2009. In Sept 09, bought a 9900 on ski it again. In Oct 09, I ran it on the LAST tournament round of the year. Thought it was a fluke but they've been going down like crazy ever since. Still am amazing feeling to run it.
  19. Shane!!! Thats a checkmark, where is the moderator?
  20. Oneil Assault (hybrid) gets my vote. Easy on and off, comfortable. Used to have a bag suit, just hated it.
  21. Looks like Dirt figured out ZO, 2@39!! Also had a 5@38. Glad Bedal took care of you on the A2, he is a good guy.
  22. I can only post a comment on certain posts. It shows the option of "write a comment" but when I click on it, nothing happens. Frustrating.
  23. Great pics, I was there last year for this tournament, bummed I missed it but a long drive. I like that Centurion graphic Fritz needs to get some longer shorts, damn good skier tho. Thanks Dirt
