  1. Now that's what I call backsiding the balls!
  2. If at 5'8" and 140 the 66" Lithium worked for you @ 36 then so will the 66" Probuild.
  3. The target markets for the 3 constructions of the 2017 Senates definitely are different. The Alloy would be for the less advanced skier who mostly skis open water conditions. That skier will appreciate the dampening effect of the wood stringers in the core to keep the tip from chattering and will not be as inclined to be a "Fin Whisperer." Although Alloy has an all carbon construction, the damper ride due to the hybrid core will favor the skier who needs a touch more time at the turn finish to get their act together. The Graphite comes standard with an adjustable fin and will have quicker reaction/acceleration response than the Alloy. The Lithium with its PVC core and all carbon layup will obviously be the lightest and fastest of the 3 and will favor the more advanced skiers who are already running the course yet still like to get out and rip on the open water from time to time as well. All 3 skis are very stable, turn smooth and easy and feel remarkably similar on the water.
  4. I talked to Trevor, our warranty manager today and he says he offered you our buy back where you could get a new pair of 2017 Carbitex Vapor boots for 175.00 each. Doesn't seem like such a bad deal for your boots which came out 5 model years ago.
  5. Nope. Tail shape, rocker, flat spot and sidecut, have all been lifted directly from the '16 Vapor. Only thing different on last year's Senate from the '15 Vapor was the round tail and the width.
  6. Yessir, the '17 Lyric is built from the same mold as the Senate and has a slightly softer flex for the ladies because as we all know they have better technique than we do.
  7. I have and I absolutely love it! Of course I am extremely biased but the ski is a big improvement over the Senates of the past. As you may have already heard, the 2017 Senate is the same shape as the 2016 Vapor with .2" added to the width. They should be available toward the end of this month or early October in all three constructions.
  8. The customer service person you talked to should have transferred you to our actual warranty manager. The response would have been more favorable and you would probably have replacements on the way. Please call back and ask for Trevor, our warranty mgr.
  9. I've torn both of mine. The second one was fixed the next day and I "skied", if you want to call it that, 8 weeks later with the doctor that performed the surgery driving. I was very careful but it felt good to get up behind the boat. Do the rehab religiously.
  10. The Vapor Boa Boots we're bringing to the Nationals are built with a Carbitex shell. A revolutionary new polymer matrix infused woven carbon fiber which gives us the bullet proof performance qualities of carbon fiber while retaining the comfortable flex and fit that skiers have grown accustomed to in our boots. And they're black!
  11. That's definitely not our version of "coral". We have a color that is much more of a neon. Those look like shades of makeup.
  12. The bottom of the Coral Pro Build is just that - coral. Not pink, not orange, kinda right in between. We'll have the new Vapor boots at the Nationals.
  13. 2017 Senate Lithium is still PVC core and it's the same shape as the 2016 Vapor with .2" added to the width. It's going to be a very popular ski.
  14. Sorry I had you buy a bunch of the wrong bolts. I should have asked which clamp you needed them for.
  15. The measurements I gave you are for our newest fin block, the one that looks like the Mapple.
  16. It's a 10-32 x 9/16" socket head cap screw 18 -8 stainless 5/32 Allen head
  17. I'll take a look at it this morning. I set them up every day and I know that I have to have the 3 clamping screws loose or I cant move the fin by hand. It takes very little pressure from the clamp to hold the fin tight.
  18. Steven Neveu is on a stock 2016 67" Vapor Lithium. He is 6'5" and weighs 205.
  19. Would I head over to the the Bar without? C'mon man!
