  1. @VONMAN I know that you’re going to laugh but I Love this ski. I have had newer ones and the next best one was a D3 Quest. I just jumped back on an old Radar MPD. I have 5 sets on it again and my better half says that I look more comfortable on it and she feels me less behind the boat. I really want a C75 but I bought a trailer instead so that I can spend the summer on the water. Hopefully I’ll be on the C75 before too long.
  2. @Ed_Johnson in the rare occasion that you wheelie, did you cut out a notch in the back of the upper shell to eliminate the chance of bruising or jamming the back of your leg/top of the boot?
  3. @DW, good thoughts! I’ll check it out. I wish that I could get out there now to try the new adjustments but heading to California in the am thru Monday ??????
  4. Thanks @AdamCord, looking forward to trying it!
  5. Thanks Guys, one question though, with the washer I end up almost even depth wise on either side. Leave it in or out? No disrespect Bruce, I guess this question is directed to Adam cord
  6. @Skierx, the ski is a 68. Front boot is supposed to be 30 1/4 When I set up the CG I set it up where it was and pushed it forward.030. I love the fin! I’m Hardshell with HRT kicker. Currently the depth on both sides is really close. I could try less length. I tried moving the bindings back 1/8 when I added depth. The combination was a flop!
  7. @"bf`" I just re did it and got the same thing.
  8. I measured without the washer and there’s a 12 thou difference. R side of the fin box is shallower
  9. @BraceMaker, I know that inherently the sides are going to measure differently but without the washer, there must really be a difference! I’ll have to take it out and remeasure. I can see the gap between the ski and fin clamp.
  10. @Jordan, I’m wanting it to complete harder at the completion of the turn. Less school bussish. Probably more me than anything.
  11. @Chef23, I would agree, just hoping for any help. If I can get my off to match my on, I’m off to the races. You skiing yet? Been cold here in Colorado!
  12. I forgot to add, 8* mini wing Running 28’s at 34 Thanks again Steve
  13. I’m wondering about specific adjustments that will help me to make my offside rff (1,3,5) turn more crisp? Using the CG fin. I’m currently at: 30 1/8 front boot 6.873 length .818 dft 2.493 left side of fin block with a washer mid hole 2.490 right side The difference in depth is odd to me, it seems that the left side should be shallower than the right since I have the washer in there. My 2,4 is crisp. I’d like to get my 1,3,5 to come around harder. I tried going deeper but going deeper wasn’t the answer. Thanks in advance! Steve @adamhcaldwell @AdamCord
  14. @Than_Bogan, I too appreciate the way you so eloquently used the word oth....WUT???
  15. I think that it’s the best looking new boat that I’ve seen! There’s something about all of the other brands/models that I don’t like aesthetically, but this new Nautique looks sweet!
  16. @adamhcaldwell, what are your thoughts on the Radar HRT Boa? I’m trying to make the change from a rear hard shell (loosely fitted) this year. I’m hoping that it will help my mobility especially hip mobility. One thing that I like already is that I was able to get my toes closer to my front boot, almost touching.
  17. I think that it’s a comparison that people will need to make on their own. I totally agree that the traditional fin is on its way out as I have the CG fin and think that it’s AMAZING! I’m glad that Jay and the Adam’s have blurred the lines of what we thought we knew! Thanks guys for your out of the box thinking and you’re desire to give us a better product and another option to get more buoys!
  18. Going for another triple! Who’s Bryant?
  19. I thought that they quit making the 200?
  20. I’ve been a double hard shell guy since 2005. Through out the years I’ve ran the rear shell looser and looser to try to get more mobility. I always wanted to try a kicker again but thought that there was no way that I would like it. This year, on a whim, I bought my better half an HRT feather and myself a HRT boa. I have one set on it so far, so far so good! I really like the boa and the heal cup. So far the only weird is that my ankle and toes got cold. Obviously I’m just taking it super easy now but all in all I think that it’s going to be an easy transition. Hopefully the Colorado weather will allow me to try it again this weekend.
