Drove around until I found them and asked the owner if I could ski on them. They said no, which was OK with me. They didn't look too good in person.

    Can't tell you where to stay, but I would recommend you stay away from Lost Isle. You're 20 years older. :-)

    Sorry 6balls, i was just having a little 'fun'. :-) Agree with all your points. In fact in 26 minutes I'll be on the course with my regular group, skiing behind one of the 3 boats in our rotation (all 10+ years old) and it will be the best hour of my entire day.

    I've been on Animals for 10 years, currently on a set of '09's. Been thinking about trying the T-Factors, great info in this thread. Thanks. I regularly ski with two guys, also on Animals. One tried to switch to Strada's a few years ago, the other tried to switch to HO Exo Pro's this year. Each struggled and switched back to the Animals fairly quickly. (one too quick in my opinion) Not to hijack the thread, but when switching bindings is the transition period noted above normal?

    "Not bashing the Response LX, but the Sportster was so fun to drive it made a Response feel sluggish" I have a '01 RLX. Drove a '07 RLXi last month and I had the same impression... the RLX is fun to drive, the RLXi feels like a slug. :-)

    The water level is the low but we're still skiing without any issues. I tightened up all the buoys again yesterday and continue to wash my car, but the rain still does not come. :-)

    Observation.... we have 4 lakes, 3 with slalom courses. Last year we replaced all the buoys at the same time in the spring. On Lake 1 we installed water filled buoys, Lakes 3 & 4 had air filled only. When we replaced the buoys this spring the water filled buoys were nowhere near as faded as the air filled buoys.

    Yes. I'll be building in another ski lake community and, as luck would have it, will be living on 'Lake 1' again. :-)

    Went to the Houston Boat show today hoping to check out a Carbon Pro, no luck.  There were only 2 direct drives in the entire show: one Response LXi and one Moomba Outback. And, not a single slalom ski.  We spent more time checlking out the RV's than boats, guess I'm done with Boat Shows.
