  1. I have been communicating with karen@goode.com and mary@goode.com, I believe Karen is the boss lady, however both have been very helpful and responsive, communications have been impressive, I would like to take this opportunity to thank them.
  2. Anybody know why the fin numbers are different when using a digital slot caliper or dial caliper, I can understand the DFT but not the other numbers ?
  3. Well I finally decided to jump in, one free demo goode mid ride on its way to the UK in 5-7 Days (apart from shipping Charges), I,ve been deliberating for months and have been on the verge several times and pulled back, but I have watched various video,s and the Goode Skis certainly appear to do the business, but on the other hand the people I am watching are pretty damn good skiers, I really hope I like it, I do not really want the hassle of sending it back, if I do it will cost me about 380$ for the experience, that would be better thanthrowing away 1650$ so I think it is worth the money to find out if it will work for me.
  4. Personally I would think most back injuries come from slack line or a Dodgy Driver, the ski would have very litttle to do with it.
  5. Hi Guy,s Anybody got some part numbers for the 250 Inter-LocTMÂ , I take it these have there own adhesive. 400 part number if you have it. Thanks
  6. Hey Guy,s does goode give any discount on ski if you quote Ball Of Spray or does that cost more LOL
  7. Thanks Guy,s just can,t thinking that skiers with tip rise have got to lose time in the course ?
  8. Hi Guy,s I,ve been watching some video of skiers goode skis, typically Dave Miller, Katrina Nowland, Nicole Arthur, etc . I was wondering if anybody else has noticed how the tip of their skis rides up after the turn, and then it comes down and they go, is this because of the rope length or is it a charastistic of the ski ?
  9. Moving On and UP, some people were kind enough to put forward useful information about the ski, which I am grateful for, and I thank them for that, discussion closed as far as I am concerned.
  10.  "I am going to do it" as soon as I get back off of holiday, Yes I am going to ignore all the negative comments and hopefully enjoy the good, I am going to buy buy a Goode Mid Ride, I,m going to use the Goode Dual Lock with STRADA Front and RTP , everybody knows how well I look after my Kit, after every set the ski goes into a sock and in the bag, I,m going to play fair and square, if I have a genuine problem with the ski, I hope that, I am treated in a genuine and fair manner. Lets Go Ski!
  11. Agreed. I am more interested in whether the Mid Ride can accomodate all styles of skiing, how well does the asymetric ski work , normally my offside turn is better than my onside would this be affected by the asymetric properties, the good news is that, as already stated the ski accelerates well across course and "turns on a dime" , encouraging. How forgiving is it, perfect position is not one of my best attributes.  Best regards
  12. Whoops ! Sorry for opening this discussion, I was genuinely interested in the performance of the Goode Mid Ride, I am aware of the other issues, and that would have to be a personal decision, I would intend to use it with D3 binding, maybe the Strada Boot with RTP mounted on a power plate with 250/250 lock, other manafacturers do not always put effort into producing a ski for the 34mph skiers of various height and weight, the O,Brien Sixam 2 point was a great ski designed for 34mph, but no longer produced, I understand that commercially it,s probably not worth it, but surely the sixam 2 point mould is sitting in the corner somewhere gathering dust, it needs no development, just manafacturing and I guess there is still a fair number of skiers that would purchase one, a fair few trophy,s were won with it. P.S     O,Brien please do something with your FIN BLOCK it is not user friendly. In comparison to others, I would describe it as horrendous. Apologies Mr Horton will not do it again. Best regards
  13. Hi ,it doesn,t surprise me fisherman all over the world are selfish, they think they are so GREEN and have the right to fish every bit of water, they pollute more water than any ski boat ,with the rubbish they leave behind let alone the crap they put in the water to catch the fish, Hypocrits the lot of them, think about it, hook your dog by the mouth tow it around for a bit, then throw it back in the yard, what a great sport.
  14. Hi    Height 5'6 175 lbs + or - trying to lose weight but yo yo a lot, speed 34mph. Tried the Z7 didnt get on with it ,same with the strada or tho I was on the 66" I think it was too small, tried the elite and it is a contender but I would have to tinker with the fin a lot to get it right, the fin block adjustment is a nightmare ,takes forever, and the ski has very sharp edges which destroys your line unless you have protection on it. I have weird fin setups because of the way I ski I guess, normally run fin deeper than most as well as fwd with added tip. The 66" sixam 2 point is the only ski that has really worked for me. I am working on the fact that the Goode is manafactured to your Height/ Weight and Speed.
  15. Ok , heres my problem ,I do not seem to be able to find a suitable replacement for my sixam 2 point, I was wondering if the Goode Mid Ride is likely to fit the bill, being wider like the 2 point but not to wide like the wide ride, anybody stood on one of these yet, would be interested to know your thoughts. best regards
  16. Hi when viewing the Radar Waterski Site, the strada is mainly for use at 36mph, any views on 34mph use, Thanks
  17. Thanks Chris ! I have watched you ski at princes club pro am many times , may I take this opprtunity to say that your skiing style and commitment is inspiring may you have good fortune in the future.
  18. H,i can anybody give me the fin numbers + binding placement for 66" / 67" Strada, Many Thanks
  19. Hey that spare wheel for the Trailer looks a tad to BIG !
  20. Hi Guy,s & Gals, please can anybody tell me, if the Strada Boot is SAFE/OK to use with RTP, I like the idea of having a really comfortabe binding on my foot this year, with no requirement for soap. Best regards to everybody hope you all have great season this year.
  21. The goal is to shift 21 Llbs, I thought I was fairly fit, could do a good hard 40 minutes on the rower after doing 20 minutes on the bike, then I had my first session with a personal trainer, what a wake up call ! that was hard , I mean hard, my Glutes, Quads, Shoulders, and Chest feel like they have had a good working over with a Baseball Bat , Really looking forward to the next session LOL, but I am determined and I am going to get there, I am going to be a lighter, fitter and a better skier next season.
  22. Tournaments, no great shakes, but I do my best, I go because, I really like the people associated with the sport. I also enjoy watching the Pro,s make it look ridiculously easy.
  23. Hey is that wing upside down (mounting screws above) or the right way up (mounting screws below) Cheer,s
  24. T-UP what wing angle did you go for and are you using factory fin numbers, interested
  25. Go on girl, give it MAXIMUM WELLY !      Awsome Lean, can you hold that through both wakes ?   or do you get pulled over with no transition, taking you tight into the bouy with loadsa speed.ÂÂ
