  1. Thanks for the review, did we end up with any recommended numbers etc Regards
  2. DID! somebody say " sheet metal screws into plastic inserts " and not bonded thread inserts, the term "AGRICUTRAL" comes to mind, not high tech waterski.
  3. Whats wrong with zero off, it gives you options, and works fine, its up to the skier not to spike the boat, a bit like handling a lady, you have to coax and caress her and spend up to $2000 to get the ride of your life. LOL ! What is the price for a flight, limousine, top class restaurant & a top class hotel for the weekend for two, I guess around $2000
  4. Hmmmm is it easy because he rides an oversize ski for his weight ? (or is it the right size if you get what I mean)
  5. Stone88, try moving your binders back, stock fin settings
  6. Don,t lean towards a A2, Demo one and lean away from everything else LOL!
  7. A2 Buy it ! get the settings right, and you will not look back, I just brought one, to replace sixam 2, Just loving it ! & loving it more !
  8. I do not know what bindings you are using but in the past, its always been the situation that if using say, d3 bindings on an HO you always have to move the binding back one hole and in some cases when using a ho binding on another ski to move the binding forward one hole, thickness of rubber used on binding etc
  9. Brent thanks, I did see message, I have control, just interested in skirays initial thoughts, after riding the ski for a few sets, I am flying across the pond next week, from the UK, done my money already. LoL
  10. Skiray, you have gone off the radar, you okay or did you take a big one, whilst trying that ski out.
  11. Thanks Guy,s your comments really helped also, trying to stand tall into the bouy, someone else noticed, I was going over the top with my free hand, instead of bringing the handle in and placing my free hand on.
  12. Balls and double Balls, I am plagued by poor onside turn, getting in deep and falling in on the back of the ski, end up with either short pull or too much speed, lose out on angle as well, any tips to overcome this problem, its crucifying my slalom, my turn in for the gate, feels good, plenty of angle, I just cannot replicate it at 2 & 4
  13. Skiray, you had a ride on that ski yet ?
  14. Numbers that were on this forum last year Quattro "66 Binding 29.5" Fin 6.845/2.495/0.70) 8% wing, pretty close to what sixam675 is using. ( saved those numbers thats how long I have been waiting for this ski, pretty sad eh, I still have the faith.) Skiray have a great day on the water
  15. I have one and use it twice a day for two to three minutes each time, important to move around slightly,do not just hang there, you know after skiing sometimes your back is really tight, it,s great when you feel that tension release and your back relax, I was having a problem with a really uncomfortable ache on the right hand side close to the spine where the big muscle around the bottom of your shoulder blade runs down your back and attaches, after a few days on the table upside down strectching to the left it released. Boy I thought I had gone to Heaven ! Feels great now, even if you know someone, who is really good with thier elbows, I do not think they could have achieved the same result, it is a personal thing and you do have to be senseble and careful when you start using it, short durations. Inversion Table Score 10/10
  16. Skiray, would appreciate update on your first set on the quattro, quality of product etc, binding placement and fin numbers Best Regards
  17. Thankyou sixam675, O,brien have always been a good source for competitive products for skiers around the world for a long time, its a shame they are having difficulties, O,brien is my preferred manafacturer of ski, I have always gone well on them, I am desperate for a replacement ski, I will give it two more weeks before I cave in and buy something else, as for the Nano guy,s I tried a normal mid, didn,t like the setup. attaching velcro to the ski with adhesive, and then a plate to the velcro and then the bindings to the plate was far from ideal for me, I am going to stay with a ski I can take out of the box and bolt my bindings on straight away, Sorry but, I like it that way
  18. Quattro ? Anybody got one yet ? Anyone even got a Sniff of one ? Anybody ordered one ? Anyone been given a date ? Anyone had feedback from Drew on one ? Anyone seen anyone ski on one recently ? My enthusiasm for the Quattro is beginning to drop off ! please help to restore faith !
  19. If skiing on water with increased temperature, say 7-10 degrees, regarding a skis fin, what adjustment is the Norm, do you change your dft, depth or length, or would it be a combination, do you take away or add ? Regards
  20. Just my opinion, first of all look at your shoulders, if you drop them forward, the ski slows and does not carry round the turn, resulting in less angle, you should try and work on keeping the shoulders level through all of the course, regards the ski just my opinion again but I do not thinkm it does you any favours on the onside turn, maybe take some advice on fin adjustment. Hope this may help you run 13m, Best Regards
  21. Thanks John interesting information, the main reason for the question was to try and work out any benefits, with the shape of the Quattro,
  22. The traditional ski shape tapers in at the front, is this designed to keep the tip up, or is there another reason ?
  23. Thanks Guy,s I,m hanging my hat on this one, just hope I am not dissappointed
