  1. Hell yeah bitch! We seriously proud back in TX. And no, tomorrow we ain't taking off.
  2. @teammalibu I had to do the same thing on SC's front plate for her new XT and have the same problem. Even with the foam pad underneath the plate it is moving. Hard to get the settings dialed in when I can't get the plate to stay.
  3. @horton or @mattp Between me, T and Super C we will take 5. Let me know the cost. If not I guess I will have to get the Bridgeport out of storage, but that means momma can't park in the garage anymore. Makes me angry I'm out of space. Could blast out that piece in no time.
  4. Nice skiing @ms. Looked great. Was fun weekend and great to see everyone. @mrjones you sure ran a sick 39 right before we shutdown for the weekend. Super Chicken got on her new XT for the first time at the event and ran 35 3 out of 4 times so that seems to be a good start for her new ski. That's the first rides she has taken on a different ski in over 15 months. Needs some tweaking, but showed promise.
  5. @richarddoane. I figured after @gregdavis made the plug for his CC the door was open. What the heck.
  6. @dw. It seems no matter what boats I have owned some are better than others although my Malibu's have been simply the most consistent. I do know that the 30th anniversary promo's Dennis spent a little extra time on them getting dialed in before shipping as he knew they would be pulling many big tournaments. Chad S. is the same. They are both are sick to drive and ski behind.
  7. If anyone wants a great boat here is one and much cheaper than the new MC price. Pulled a pending World Record and have been told by some of the best drivers in the world that this was not the best Malibu they have driven, but the best single boat they have ever driven. More bling than you can stand (even the white is pearl metallic) and drives so good you can cancel those marriage counseling appointments that were needed cause momma can't keep it in the center. I kept the pics big so you could clearly see @horton in the photo as a bonus. http://i695.photobucket.com/albums/vv313/marcaustin11/photo5.jpg http://i695.photobucket.com/albums/vv313/marcaustin11/photo.jpg
  8. Guys you should be careful how you say what your saying. T coaches lot/homeowners and lessees at SMRR and skis as a guest. He does not bring in outside parties to ski there with him. He can make arrangements to coach other places. He is very careful not to break this rule. Jimmy is a lot owner at SMRR. Just wanted to be clear on this so it does not cause an issue for the guys.
  9. @shaneh. I think that may have been practice and fairly certain I was driving. But in any case, Jimbo is a good coach. Think about it. He taught Super Chicken to do flips. That's saying something. Imagine he could anything after that.
  10. @shaneh SC swears that bun is designed and set for optimum drag angle. @horton would only be taking advantage of a bun as one more way to add tip. The hair gives him another tuning option. Laughed when I saw this boys so thanks. I bumming to be in SA working while my girl is skiing this event but glad they went. @dirt thanks for the pics. http://i695.photobucket.com/albums/vv313/marcaustin11/32c968bd-ae81-436f-98fc-60c9c9480d4a.jpg
  11. Was lucky enough to be a tower judge for Nate's record. Great skiing. He will take this much further, believe me. Boat path looked perfect. Don't think it will be an issue. Other great performances: -Steve Raphael 3@39 new M6 national record -Mike Royal broke his own world record 3 times taking it all the way to 1/2 at 41off (got to drive all of these. He and his family are a class act) -Jay Leach 5@41 new SCR regional record -Bailey Austin 4@38 new G3 SCR regional record (especially like this one) There is some I'm forgetting I'm sure. CP ran a sick 41 off today. He is far from done. Looked great and is working hard. One of the best lakes, great drivers and unbelievably gracious host. Still one of the top places to go ski an event. Thanks to Claire and Dave for a great weekend.
  12. @texas6 @MS the mesh Masterline guard in the photos on the purple and black handle was a prototype they had "Super Chicken" test a few years ago. It worked well, but they never produced it. The green and gray handle with the rope woven in is what they make for her now and she uses today. I also have a handle like that also, but mine is made with spectra.
  13. @horton As one of the few members of the "BOS Intergalactic Champion Club" she clearly understands that one of the responsibilities is to help ensure you stay out of trouble and that this duty does not expire. Somehow @ShaneH was also included in the responsibility list though, which we think was a typo in the rules. Cracks me up. That is the one title that isn't allowed to be aged off her bio. Think so far that is the favorite. Every year at regionals and nationals you hear them announce it and make some smart comment. They even announced it at the Jr US Open, which actually had some spectators and I swear the group of bikers that saw the TV commercials and came to watch looked impressed when they heard it.
  14. @horton You haven't seen her trick. The nickname fits. Do me a favor and help Trent keep an eye on things in my absence. We are both getting worried about all the boys hanging around now at events.
  15. I can't go, but were sending "Super Chicken" for her first open women's event. http://i695.photobucket.com/albums/vv313/marcaustin11/2a0a10f9-c9f9-4853-bb8e-c3d0ecd19162.jpg
  16. Feels like when Earnhardt finally won the Daytona 500. Congrats man. Nice job.
  17. After owning CC's for 20 years I couldn't be happier with the last two TXI's I have had. 25 to 30% less fuel, equal or better quality, drives unbelievable and cost less. Not sure what else to say. Ohh, and I don't need a 6L to make it perform like it should.
  18. New Warp 13 (just got it!) Goode Powershells Eagle Vest Masterline 13" handle 1.09 spectra with built in handle guard webbing Masterline knotless rope Radar lock gloves (only have one pair left after these. Pray they start making them again)
  19. Was a great event, put on by fantastic host and the skiing was unbelievable. There were several other current regional and national records tied or broken, but were not to be submitted since they already had records pending. Was an awesome event for a great cause. Hope it is done again. Thanks to Sonny and Eileen. Real class acts.
  20. @Shaneh @horton See you boys when you get to Austin TX. I just want to make this clear! I will supply all the skiing, beer you can drink and we may even shoot some guns, but I don't want to hear any of your homosexual experimentation stories from the trip. I think that's a fair trade.
  21. @horton Let me know if you need any help on this set up. Can talk you through dialing it in. Riding this ski is a different experience that you will crave daily once you stop riding it. Maybe shoot down to TX and we can give it a rip. (By the way, didn't see your entry for our June 22nd and 23rd 6 round record and we are now 12 deep into the waiting list. Whats up with that? As @jdarwin would say, most of the usual suspects will be here)
  22. One of the best skis I have ever ridden. Only got off it because I was afraid I couldn't get another one. After four full seasons it is now Goodson's spare in almost perfect condition. He has ridden his I believe 6 or 7 years now. Never could make the carbon fin work. Most of the guys run a Radar or HO fin. Not sure if Thierry still runs a Schintz precision fin with the wing integrated into the fin. I am looking for my old Warp 8 serial number now to give you a shout @MrWarp
  23. @shaneH Your right! It is the best. I made a decent donation so figured I wanted one other way to get some of my money back in case they cut @TFIN gates or something suspect at the event. Gotta have a back up plan.
  24. @OB There ya go, done. Hopefully that's enough to help. Sent it all the way from South Africa. @TFIN going to win your event anyway so we can keep my money in TX. My favorite margarita in town is the Cadillac at the Iron Cactus. Don't forget.
