  1. @ToddL promised us at regionals he was sending his entry in ASAP and there would be no more spreadsheets or talk of rules modifications. He also ripped it up at regionals making his handicap a little tougher. I'm glad we discussed this before he skied. Congrats man. Nice skiing.
  2. As a Delta diamond flyer I'm glad to see my dollars at work @ob. After 56 round trips to South Africa in the last 3 years in some way I feel like I helped you get this done. Congrats man. Next year maybe I will burn some miles and get back in on this thing. Have to actually start skiing again though. New ski coming Thursday. Starting to feel motivated. Better quit aggravating Horton. Your handicap may get fudged at the event in Oct.
  3. @toddL yes, just please mail a check before this talk makes my head explode. Hell with the handicap calculation. @superchicken just worried about getting done in time each day to get to ACL and not miss the Foo Fighters. Hear @skidawg may get on stage too and I'm not missing that.
  4. @David Miller miller is the one who taught me the velcro trick on the bottom of the T nuts I mentioned above. Been a time saver for me.
  5. @evolski Sometimes the taper of the screw and top lip of the aluminum flange nuts bottom out on each other before they actually tighten down on the boot itself enough to hold in place. File the top lip off the flange nuts allowing the setup to tighten down on the boot a little more and the problem should go away. Mine haven't moved at all since doing this several years ago. This is fairly common amongst Powershell users. (at least the ones who's boots don't move anymore) I would do this before adding additional bolts. One other Powershell trick to make your life easier. If you don't have velocro on the ski underneath where the flange nuts are on the plate, put a small piece of interlock on the bottom of each nut. This will allow you to remove your boots from the plate while it is mounted on the ski without the nuts falling down into the void where it's a pain to get them back into the slot properly. It makes it quick and easy to take your boots on and off for measuring and ski setup etc.
  6. @OB to your point, which only seems to have the word Flextail in it lately, will these bindings fit on a flextail? It looks like the carbon spine is where the rear release needs to mount. Shells look nice.
  7. Bigger question is where's the beard?
  8. We certainly tried to avoid that weekend, but the two previous weekends were ACL's music festival and the following weekend was Formula 1. Austin has gotten pretty popular. Add UT football games to that mix and this city stays busy.
  9. We're really pumped to host this event at Aquaplex. Look forward to seeing everyone. Will be a blast to get everyone together. Bailey and I will mail our entries as soon as we get back from U21's in Spain. It's gonna fill up fast.
  10. I was proud of @ms He mounted right back up and went out next round. I think after a fin change or two though. Super Chicken thinks he's cool so she even gave him her settings.

@ms what settings do you use on each one?
  12. @deeski Usually wouldn't comment, but you definitely saw that one wrong. @horton is correct. HO V Type off the shelf with a black bottom graphic. The others were running the yellow graphic ski so just looks different. He crushed that 39 on it.
  13. @horton we think so, but he takes a hell of a lot less than my cleaning lady in SA. She was cleaning out my Captain Morgan Select and Johnnie Blue when I travel. He pretty harmless compared to that.
  14. @TFIN is the best airport shuttle and house sitter I know, Period! Not a bad ski partner either at times. His raccoon invasion detection skills could improve a bit, but that will come with repetition.
  15. The boarding school is definitely worth hitting while in O'Town. Great people and what most consider the best man made ski site in Florida. Brooks, thanks for fitting us in recently. It was greatly appreciated.
  16. @klindy‌ Was great to see you there and thanks as always for your participation. Wasn't my girls week as she just couldn't overcome the horrible food poisoning that lasted 2.5 days to make the field. Bump spots suck, but we weren't sure she could even make it to the dock so not too bad. Proud of her none the less and thankful for everyone who worked so hard to put on this event. Hope to see you soon and back on your ski. Proud of all the US kids. They really skied hard.
  17. @ms. Would of been great to be able to tell college ski stories. Be more fun to tell then college lacrosse stories. Hell when I signed my national letter of intent it even had a no skiing clause in it while I was under scholarship. Should of known then they weren't serious about having fun. Oh well, in Baltimore we didn't even know you could ski in college. Have bought most on your list a beer to two, but will buy again at Cottonwood 2015 events. Aquaplex record July 11th &12th this year. That event has a beer sponsor so we will provide for whoever attends, pro or not.
  18. 2015 CC 200 6L. 4 hours. When I sold our 2009 Malibu with over 1000 hours only thing it ever had done was an impeller and oil changes. Guy still has it now with over 1500 hours and hasn't had to do anything to it. Boats after that never get enough hours to worry about. Think most on 3 boats since then has been 350 and no problems with any.
  19. I have two sets in 1/4 degree increments that Mark from http://liquidcut.com/ made for us. Originally got them made as an easy way for "Super Chicken" to make small changes herself when traveling without me to events instead of trying to move the fin. Turns out we all use them more than ever imagined. They are not the 2 sided gauges he shows on the site, but more standard like the previous ones mentioned. Detrick just got a set made after seeing ours.
  20. @zman Believe it or not she is the one who gave me that saying.
  21. Drivers who think looking at the rooster tail in the center of the mirror means there in the middle and Dragging me! Rule number 1 is boys can't pee with a tight rope so leave slack till I tell ya. Becky Lathrop never forgets this. Always feel super calm skiing behind her.
  22. @Shaneh Our 14 closed bow the throttle seems easier than the 13 promos that I drove in tournaments last year. Will have SC's 15 in a few weeks will let you know if any different.
  23. @usaski1 I go away for awhile and all kind of crazy crap happens. Home in a few weeks for a short time. How about a shot at barefoot jump when I'm back? We could get people to pay to see that I bet.
  24. Wish I was going, but stuck in SA. We have a few family reps going though. One of the best events every year. Hate to miss it. Good luck to everyone.
  25. @zman Anytime brother. Great to see you. Glad your back down south again. Costa Rica reunion talk is brewing I hear. Gotta give Stange some credit for the steak too. Was a joint effort.
