  1. Sent email, but have not heard back. Is this still available?
  2. RAL, where did you see the $990 plus $50/$100 prices? I'm still seeing $1440 on their website.
  3. Not sure I would trust their charts. I got a 63" last year based on their charts. Everyone I've spoken with since said I should have been on the 65". Took a bath selling it.
  4. ....She is 14.... But she kicks everyone's ass! Fierce competitor. She had to win the last tournament to win the championship. I think she got 3 PB's that day. Bud, I did see that, no mention of where you got it. A few of us worked pretty hard on this concept. No big deal.... I got a little lazy last year and did not publish the other 'tour stop' points, but here is a link to the 2009 points. At the bottom of the spreadsheet, you can see a link to each 'tour stop'. https://sites.google.com/site/skilittledawg/Home/2009-points
  5. Hey Bud, those rules look awfully familiar. How about a little credit?http://sites.google.com/site/skilittledawg/Home/rules We have done it for the past few years in Va and it works very well. Quite exciting when a beginner skier can whip up on the big dawgs.
  6. So last year's Mid is still going to be $1440. If anyone has a 65 for sale, let me know.
  7. The other prop won't change the wake, but it will change the way the motor reacts to the skier. Not saying one is better than the other, it's just not what you will face at a tournament. Wow, I didn't know the 197 was that expensive. I thought it was close to a 200 closed bow.
  8. CC promo guy here. I do like the MC, but it has the worst hole shot of any boat out there. On our short setup lakes around here they have a difficult time. I still have the factory prop on my 200, smaller motor and never use more than 1/4 to 1/2 throttle to pull even the biggest guy up. Not sure about using the other prop. To me, it kinda defeats the purpose of having a new boat. I want to practice behind exactly what I will have at a tournament. CC will have the smaller wake from -28 and longer. If you pull anyone at slower speeds, CC really works better. At short line, both are excellent. Both drive well but I'd give a slight edge to the 200. Of course the 200OB is more expensive. I'd say drive/ski both and see what you think.
  9. I had one of their baggy suits. 10000% dry, but the legs tended to drag at shorter lines. Since moved to the O'Neil Assault hybrid. Not nearly as dry, but easier to ski.
  10. Reflex shells, Intuition liners and my own custom G10 plate with dual lock (MS's favorite). I used a variety of rollerblade boots, but they all kept falling apart. I've been happy with the reflex shells.
  11. Brent, I was going to just ride this X5 for the winter then buy an X7 or a proper size Mid. I think I still like this thing though! Haven't tried 38 yet, so we'll see. I figure if S.Tynan is still on it....
  12. Guess I'm screwed. I'm back on my '06 X5. It will be my 4th season on it.
  13. I've heard Andy ran 41 behind this boat and the rope did not hit the tower. I agree, looking at it you think there is no way. Anyone have a shot of the rope fully extended on a 38, 39, 41 pass?
  14. Good advice Jody. Love the 5 gal tank idea. Isn't this still under warranty?
  15. I have not tried the X7, but I'm sure it is similar to my '06X5. Try the slot fin with his Schnitz's stock numbers. Made a huge difference on my X5. Evened out both turns and sped it up quite a bit.

  17. I think the one we were using had some problems with the steering. Certainly could be fixed, but I wouldn't want one going out on 'trials' unless it was darn close to perfect. Not having an adjustable rudder seems silly. Yes, I meant that the Centurion is almost the same price as the big 3. I would be scared to become a promo, buy an expensive boat being such an unknown. I do hope they can pull it off though. The hull has some serious potential. I can't think of any reason I'd get this over an '09 196. The 196 would be cheaper and built better.
  18. I hesitate making any comments beyond what I did. Those were truthful. I would have no problem skiing it in a tournament. If I comment too much, it might come across as a Nautique promo guy bashing anything that isn't a nautique. I also do not want to discourage anyone from bringing something new to the market. I think competition is great. I also think they are on the right track, if they can keep it going. If you have specific questions, either email or 'whipser' it to me. I did not drive it, but several did. I think they have some work to do. With some tweaks, I think it could be ok. I think this would be a great $25-30k boat. Unfortunately, it is a long way from that. Personally, for almost the same money, I'd get a stripped 200, an LXi or MC.
  19. We skied it yesterday. I was going to try -22, but we didn't have a rope longer than -28, sorry. I'll tell ya, I would have no complaints if I got this boat at a tournament. While they are not as good as a 200, I'd say they are just as good as a 196. Little bump at 28, but nothing to speak of any shorter. One of our guys is in M8 and skied 30mph. He had no complaints on the wake. The spray was very good, similar to an LXi or MC. You will not have any trouble at any line length. It did seem a little sensitive to weighting. Possibly a little bias towards the driver's side. However, it has a built in ballast on the passenger side that you could fill to adjust as needed. I did like the concept of the no carpet. Didn't like the 'camo' design of the rubber we had, but I would assume there are other options. It would be a little hard on the knees if you had to kneel on it when working on the motor or something. You still will have to clean it, but I assume it would be easier than carpet. I'd stay carpet looks and feels better though. Just depends on your needs. The 343 has plenty of power for this boat. We didn't do a WOT run, but I assume top speed is pretty high considering the weight. I'll post pictures when I get them uploaded.
  20. Krlee, I dont think we will have anyone that ski's any longer than -28 tomorrow. Maybe I'll put it on -22 to see what it's like. Thinking about putting my 200 in and doing back to back passes behind each boat to compare.
  21. A buddy of mine is considering becoming a promo for them. He's picking one up tomorrow and we're going to ski it this Saturday. Honestly, I have not followed this thread, but if anyone wants me to check out specific things, take pictures, etc just let me know.
  22. Here is a link to what we are doing in Va. Check out the rules section.www.skilittledawg.com The winner of last year's series is pictured on the home page. With the handicap, she beat all of us. It came down to the very last pass to decide the series champion.
  23. just call him, OB(GYN). Wow, I think we strayed a little off topic! ;-)
