  1. @Jody_Seal You have many reasons to be very proud of her! Best wishes for a successful career!
  2. Interesting...relate on three fronts...1) I'm definitely O40/50 (actually O60) and have lower back degenerative disease..Xrays, no MRI, PT next. 2) wife is an MD (radiology) so she sees lots of what the article talks about. 3) younger son, HS senior wants to purse PT in college like your daughter...college decision between pre-DPT program vs. Athletic Training undergrad, then DPT. What was your daughter's path to DPT school?
  3. I'm 61 and "quick math" probably 100 sets/year..April - October. Never mind what my body "tells" me...as my friend @Lpskier will tell you, my performances clearly show it's not enough...interestingly, I also started to ski at age 40. Don't remember where i was at 44 but I'm sure not quite where you are...Congrats!

    Bad ZO Puck

I replaced the two pucks on my '08LXi this summer. Called ZO tech support and after he told me the cost of the new pucks AND without my prompt, told me i should find the same puck for lees money elsewhere. Gave me the part # Garmin GPS18x-5Hz. At the time the cheapest I found was at www.gpscity.com...$139.95. Installed them and ZO system worked immediately. Side note...for some reason i wasn't able to post here but @Horton hopefully fixed it...Not sure how to delete the two blank posts above

I had to replace my two pucks this summer on my '08 LXi...called ZO tech support and after telling me the cost for a new puck and without my prompt, he told me i should find the same exact part much less expensive elsewhere...then gave me the part number - Garmin GPS 18x-5Hz. At that time, the cheapest i found was at www.gpscity.com for $139.95...bought two, installed and system ran perfectly immediately.

    Athleticism

I have stayed away from this topic as I did not "connect" with the title...and my friend @lpskier scared me further with his actual Olympian friend...wow that's Athleticism! On the other hand he @lpskier, also said he played a"mean game of ping-pong"...Ok you're on...and i will try not to beat you up as badly as you do me in slalom... Grew up in Lisbon and played soccer (what else?). That was my luck and allowed me to play in college here...then a few years in some semi-pro leagues in Montreal (while in grad school) and CT and MA after that. Played a lot of tennis between 25 and 35. Decent "street" player but never any coaching, so limited competence. Skiing stared at almost 40...some coaching, no competence, but much fun!

  22. Hi there @milemsky...Rui here. Hope all's well! Did you get a new boat? if so, what?
  23. Thank you for your comment @kfennell. I interpret your main point as that in a rotational fall the OB4s always release both boots (because that's the only type of fall where one in/one out is bad...not sure i fully agree, looks like @JJR may have a different experience). But my concern is that I had the impression that the OB4s always released both boots and @than's post may suggest otherwise
