  1. @razorskier1 I can help take the sting out if that. Last year here in colorado we had a bad drought and they emptied my lake to unskiable on August 5. Had the annual lake meeting this morning. Snow pack is at 39% of average which means there is a good chance I wont get water at all this year. Be happy those trucks are on water and not dirt. Pray for snow and rain.
  2. I have tried a couple of times.... doesnt go well. Deep powder skis kinda work. Never tried on a full rocker ski. Problem is snow skis arc the wrong way and weight in the middle flattens them. I got up once with a slalom on my left foot and snow ski on my right. Then stepped off like I was going to barfoot. That was a bad idea. Still have a scar from the ski. Lesson learned next time I will dull the edges.
  3. Connelly rocket. Wish I hadnt outgrown that thing. Ran inti 22off @36 on that ski at 16 or 17. Grew to 6 foot 2 and it was too short. My concepy was good but the rocket was better.
  4. @shaneh how do you know so much about an 0-1 visa? Ex- girlfriend with extraordinary abilities? :) ooohh right. Sorry couldnt resist
  5. A bit of a side note how does it work for someone from bolivia? Says they can compete. Is a territory considered citizen or .........
  6. @wish I think I a difference in your situtaion is if you had skied the majority of you tournaments in that region for the ten weeks prior you could have placed. There is an exeption if you wanted to place in their regionals. Why not have an exception for people in kfennels place saying if you have not skied in an international tournament winthin the last two years and are a legal RESIDENT of the US. You are allowed to compete. Would eliminate the pros
  7. @dw it is mechanical. Will give more details as I get closer to pulling this unit.
  8. .@DW I think I sold that system to wblskier. Not sure what the different versions include just that the cirrent is 8.0 I think so mine isnt very old. Bought new two years ago and then bought a newer boat the next year. If you are interestes I will more than likely be pulling the PP off my 02 196 to upgrade to ZO and will be looking to sell that system. Dont know specifics on it other than has a hand timer paddle wheel and I think just the single line display so a bit more expensive to upgrade
  9. @WBLskier I am selling my old boat that has a mechanical PP setup on it and so far I have had a few people want just the PP so I am going to pull it off and sell it as a whole unit. Bought it two years ago. It is perfect pass 3 event not stargazer, has version 7.0. Let me know if you are interested.
  10. Off topic sorry. @drago had a friend show up with a 2004 moomba outback. Had a carburetor on top. Weirdest thing ever.
  11. @thager. I have a 2002 196 that I want to upgrade with ZO could you email me and tell me about your experience doing yours? Skier2788@yahoo.com or through here.
  12. I used to work for an aquatics weed business. We treated irrigation ditches mostly. Reward works well. There are two others I would recommend one is called nautique its a copper based weed killer and the other is cascade. Nautique would work best in a lake dependant on size. In a moving ditch I could kill for a mile with it but that was it. It would also give a slight blue dye for awhile.
  13. I look at it as a right foot forward skier has to make three weak side turns (1,3,5). A left foot forward skier only has two (2,4). If you are in anyway running the pass 6 isnt much of a turn.
  14. It would appear to me that you are exiting the white water and are edge changing for the next bouy. The only potential issue I could see is if you are rushing your hands up and away from you causing slack. Could also be pulling you out of postition hard to tell from a single frame. Look at nate in this picture null
  15. @6balls that is what happened to me. The driver didnt split the knot and just put it on. Weird feeling having the handle in your hand but no boat. I have broken a few ropes and that is an even worse feeling.
  16. Im with @jfw432 thats the way I was taught a long time ago. Have popped the rope off the pylon using the single loop method before
  17. 86 American skier and 2002 ski Nautique
  18. I bought a new ski in January and had nightmares until may when I finally skied on it. The dream was that I would wet my bindings and pull them on then grab the handle but when I looked back down the ski had melted and I was standing in a puddle of goo and only my boots were left. I should have taken that as an omen. I hated that ski.
  19. @Rpc29 I don't know much about aloha valley beach but it is close by Tommys slalom shop in Denver. Used to have a strip club right there on the lake then became a bar now I don't think it is anything. Houses all along the lake now. Fairly narrow lake from what I have heard nobody really slaloms there anymore mostly wakeboarders. Home owners started complaining about the noise so I think they put restrictions on when you could run your boat and put in a cable park on one part of it. You would be like an hour and a half from Loveland from there. I think you would have to put up with a lot of stuff from nonslalom skiers but for 500 bucks its not a bad deal.
  20. @colo_skier North side of Highway 34 just east of Greeley. http://www.trulia.com/homes/Colorado/Greeley/sold/800499-727-E-27th-St-Greeley-CO-80631
  21. @6balls yep living in Loveland and ski ten minutes from Laku. Praying for snow so we have water next summer. If you get out this way be sure to hit me up for a ride.
  22. @6balls let me know when and if it happens. I think I have looked at every lake in the frontrange at some point or another. Triple R is for sale in greeley...... tournament lake with nice house comes with two fairly new mastercrafts......
