  1. Not sure what size ski you need but we have alot of closeout PVC core skis and demos too. Let me know or call the store and I'll help as I can. Here is an updated closeout sheet
  2. @ThePantsManCan thanks for the mention! We show new 2016 closeouts in in stock, and also show a pair of 16 Demos left. I'd call the store to just confirm this at 407-859-7544 Bill. As for fit...they should be pretty close. If you need them a bit tighter you can add an extra footbed to them...that seems to work also.
  3. I've taken photos of the HO Liner here for everyone as its very unique and designed specifically to work with this boot. Heat moldable with built in J-Bars for real heel lock down and a personalized fit for every foot. A neoprene toe box has been added for additional comfort and improved fit also. The other key things you'll see are nylon reinforcements in key areas of wear that they found in other liners. Also new is the velcro power strap in the cuff that allows the liner to track with the cuff and stays closed...which is really nice! I've asked about them selling the liner separately...but doubt they will do this for the first year till they catch up on production. Our response in the store so far has been REALLY great and its so nice to have a boot that truly is being used by alot of the top skiers! Try the new liner on / out...its pretty special! Theres a great video Dave did on the boot on our website page for the boot: HO-2017-Syndicate-hardshell-video
  4. Hi Wayne, For 2017 Senates ...here are the numbers Matt and Brooks have confirmed as of about 2 weeks ago 6.980 Long, 2.465 Deep, .760 DFT flat, 9degrees and 31.75" Hope that gives you a starting point.
  5. From our early sales and demos...thew 2017 Senates are pretty amazing. I had a guy yesterday buy a base Alloy Senate over another highend hybrid ski from a test ride. Also showing a Graphite Senate in 69" in stock in 2016, $499.99 blank.
  6. What ski are you looking for? 2017 skis are already out in some models / brands....and all the 16's are already on closeout now with the best models / sizes selling out for sure. What are you looking for? If we can help we will...but inventories on key sizes in the best high end skis are really thin as most of the companies have cut back on huge stockpiling of skis. Hope this helps. Bill PS: email us at sales@perfski.com on the ski you are seeking...we still have 16's and also have some really clean demo skis left for sale we use in our test fleet.
  7. Hey Trevor, everyone above is pretty much spot on. The Carbon Senate is a bit more "torsionally" stiff to give you more acceleration and response out of the turn, but still remains a good overall tip to tail flex to allow it to turn REALLY well and get angle out of the turn. Fin settings are key, having the ski setup right. We have both Matt Rini's and Rossi's numbers here..can set one up for you so you can jump on it out of the box. I'd do the graphite if you can swing it financially. If you get one from us...ski it and aren't happy, we'll take it back within 30 days with a full refund if its clean / we can still sell it as new...or if you get down to Orlando....you can demo one here...even ski with Matt who helped with the design / finalize all the fin numbers and Flex. http://www.perfski.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=RADAR+2016+GRAPHITE+SENATE
  8. Slasher is our best selling comp vest...fits great, flexible and people seem to like it, including the new womens version. The new Epic LS spring you mention is a new suit for 2016....brought out because of the success of the fullsuit. A great value for a seam sealed suit and durable. Other suits we are selling to skiers really well are the Camaro Black-tec and Mode-tec Springs. Ballers here can speak to their love of Camaro. Only think I will tell you is that Camaro's material is you have to be a bit more gentle putting it on / off...however what you get for this is something super flexible.
  9. You should be able to do either a contour or straight boom....but I would do as you were thinking..the contour. It will fit just about in inboard boat. As for running off the drivers side, you can do it, but you'll have alot of weight on side, you'd need to offset it with some additional people ballast on the passenger side. If we can help let us know.!
  10. This is a question that comes up alot in the shop.....and one thats kind of tough to answer. From my experience...when kids are learning...and "athletic"...you want to look for a ski that will allow them to progress....not outgrow the performance of the ski right away. The freeride skis are great to learn on...super stable and something they can get solid foundations on. If you just want her on a ski that skis easily and to allow her to rip some turns...I think you are on the right track with the Jr Freeride. Another option if she is fairly athletic and that might afford her a bit more room to grow if you think she'll ski in the course is the Radar TRA. Its based on the Radar senate mold but in a slightly softer layup. The bevels and rockerline are the same as their Vapor, but wider with a bigger sweet spot and a softer flex to allow the ski to turn. Do you have any other kids, or any need for a "boat slalom" for jr skiers? It might be that the freeride is the starting point, then you move her to a more traditional slalom if she progresses quickly. We have both new and closeout skis in those sizes...and will be glad to help however we can if you need it. If you are in the Central Florida area at all also..we have most all these skis in our demo fleet. One other topic...make sure you get boots that fit her feet right...especially if you are going a bit longer on the ski. If using a toe plate...again, it needs to fit right, she needs to be able to get her toes in on it easily. One tip for helping her drop a ski....really stress to her to know feel like she immediately has to get her rear foot on the ski. Drop the ski...and tell her to just pull her back foot behind her front...and follow it down til she gets it on the ski...can find a balance point. One of the largest problems I have found teaching people to drop a ski is that they "kick off" the drop ski and "swing" the loose foot in a mad panic to get it on the slalom...with the hip / leg movement twisting the slalom ski from the urgency of getting your rear foot on to the slalom..... making them loose their balance... If we can help..reach out. we will do what we can. Bill @ Performance Ski and Surf www.perfski.com
  11. @PurdueSkier Plates have not changed....you can use the split plates (front and rear) or the Sequence Plate (single plate). They will fit your S2 fine. IF we can help reach out.
  12. Flex...the S will be a slightly softer flex. Here is what they are saying on that In this design process we learned that there was a need for “softer-more forgiving” ski. We also learned that alot of skiers like to have a softer ski that would afford them a bigger sweet spot as they moved to shorter line lengths and allow them to have a ski that was simply easier to ski on. The ARC-S is the answer to those skiers needs. This is a departure to our thought of a “ladies & mens specific flex”. In the course of testing skis, we really found the flex of the ski and size the skiier preferred to ski on really depended on the style and needs of that specific skier. Also that not all women need or want a softer ski. The ARC-S also is the perfect solution for skiers who have to drop down their boat speed for their skier division but still want a ski with true short line performance at the slower speed. The ARC-S is the answer to their demands. Softer Flex Pattern- The ARC-S is a slightly softer version of the ARC that has all the same awesome characteristics. The ARC-S is the perfect solution for lighter skiers and also for those skiers who are at the lower end of the weight range for a particular size ski. The ARC-S is the solution for skiers who prefer to ski the next larger size ski and for those that are dropping speed divisions but still want short line performance.
  13. Hey Greg, there will be more to come... and we'll update it as we go...but in talking to the guys at D3...this is the first ski that has they started from scratch on...totally new rocker line. totally new concave / depth of concave, and all new bevels. It will allow skiers to ski forward or back on the ski, and have a new feel that is unlike anything you've felt on a D3. Here is what we'll have to start on the website...more to come! ALL NEW FOR 2016, D3 is proud to introduce the ARC Slalom. The new ARC (ADVANCED ROCKER & CONCAVE) slalom ski is the culmination of a two-year project to design and develop a ski that offers the ultimate in slalom ski performance. Denny, Will, Nate & the crew basically started with a fresh canvas on this project to try and take an totally fresh look at ski width, rocker and concave, existing shapes, new shapes, what works, and what doesn’t. The end result is the all new ARC which Denny and his team feel is the greatest slalom ski design in the history of any Denny Kidder brand. No gimmicks, no gadgets, just the perfect ski with the perfect shape. Nate Smith- on his new ARC, “ With the ARC, I am confident that increasing my World Record at 43 is only a matter of time …” Key Features on the all new D3 ARC Slalom: * Natural Radius Rocker Profile- Creates a tight radius turn that starts with ease and finishes completely. * Aggressive Concave Depth- Allows the ARC to grab powerful angle and cross course hold; giving the skier the ability to add direction thru the wakes. The result- a ski that is faster and earlier to the next buoy. * Wider Forebody- Provides more support and course width without losing speed thru the turn. The ARC casts outbound better than any ski D3 has ever produced. * Tip to tail bevel design- The bevel assembly of the ARC stays consistent from tip to tail to allow a smooth precise water flow. This keeps the ski moving even when aggresively attacking the shortest line lengths. * 45/45 Carbon Fiber Laminate Layup- This unique layup allows the ARC to recover from the massive loads of short line turns. This keeps the ARC stable and predictable to maximize cross course direction out of the turns. * Power Flex Pattern- A flex pattern with unparalleled consistency means the harder you push the ARC the better it responds. * Rockerblock R-30- Is standard equipment on all ARC slalom skis. The success of the Rockerblock has carried D3 to World Slalom Records. Its natural radius delivers a complete finish to both the on-side and the off-side turns. 14. No...no changes....it has been discountinued..replaced by the new Radar Butter Knife. It came from a ski that Matt Rini and Herb had started working on over 5 years ago...and Matt, Sully, Brooks and the crew started taking the concepts of the design and it worked so well it became their new ski...and even in a slightly narrower version also replacing the Theory is the Katana. Hard to think they could replace the P6 as its been a fantastic ski...but the Butter Knife lives up to all the hype: http://www.perfski.com/index.php/radar-2016-butter-knife44.html Also have closeout P6's too: http://www.perfski.com/index.php/catalogsearch/result/?q=P-6
  15. Lots of options out there...Camaro's definately seem to be the skiers choice for flexibility. But durability wise we tend to sell more of the higher end Oneill / Rip Curl fullsuits. A big consideration when you buy one....warmth is created buy the thickness of the suit, materials and the construction. Meant to say that typically you pay for what you get. That said, you can get a great suit that will meat your needs for less than $300. Ask other skiers in your area what they use. We see two schools of thought...high end fullsuits 3/2 mainly some 4/3 for skiers wanting warmth / flexibilty....or others who just shift to Drysuits. Their tips on sealed gloves, neoprene beanies, and even titanium waterproof boot liners are all viable. Call us if you have questions. As for me (Bill), Anthony or Danielle. We'll help give you additional info if you need it.
  16. We finally are geting skis out / on the water...so thanks for posting feedback here also. Got numbers from Will yesterday for a 67" of .780 / 6.870 / 2.495 / 29 3/4. Also a followup from Dave WIngerter that after the week skiing with the team they are going to make some updates on "stock numbers" more similar to wills....until then....all good feedback. Have 66", 67" in white and Black's now if you are trying to find one.
  17. Hey Phil/All, People often ask us in the shop about "what ski school do you recommend...and I'll suggest what I tell them. Do you homework....pick up the phone and call the school who you are wanting to ski with. Ask who will be coaching you and ideally speak to them directly. Where you are at, what type of skiing / instruction you are looking for, what you'd like to accomplish and what they can offer you....and then what they have to offer you facility wise. There are so many amazing coaches here in the Orlando area, but also there are alot of great things to do. Ultimately its about your ability to relate to the coach you choose and comfort at the facility they have to work with you, the boats they use and your equipment. There is good advice here...but do you own homework....it will be worth it. And great thing this time of year, you don't have to lock yourself down with one school / coach. You can ski with more than one...or settle in with one you like. You have lots of options. Matt Rini, Jack Travers, The Wilson Brothers, Drew Ross, Jodi Fisher, Franz Oberleitner, Kris Lapoint, Rhoni Barton, Wade Cox, Lucky Lowe, Franck Desboyaux, Swiss Ski School, Phil Hughes, and more that I'm surely forgetting with my first cup of coffee. Its like us "Floridians" planning a snow ski trip...talk to friends, call yourself, and find what works best for you. Equipment wise, demo wise....we are here to help as needed. Good luck with your search and we hope to see you soon. Bill & the crew at Performance!
  18. I asked Jeff Husby the owner of Nautiques of Orlando.... One owner who bought the boat new who just traded it in on a new boat. Says its super clean / Good running boat. Said if you have specific questions call their shop number @ 407-425-2628. As for Jason Webster, Scott or Andrew.
  19. Pretty much everyones on point here.....Vapor boots run a bit small...and if you have a wide foot you'll need to upsize or consider the profile boot. You can heat mold the boots and that will help, but typically would suggest you size up. New 2016 Boa versions are really selling well and response to the adjustment has been great! http://www.perfski.com/index.php/ski/slaloms/waterski-bindings/brands/radar-skis.html?m-layered=1
  20. If we can help we have a great selection of Camaro suits and tops. Call the shop @407-859-7544 or heres a link to our website. http://www.perfski.com/index.php/brands/camaro.html
  21. You can always contact us / check our site for update numbers on many skis. For the 69" Senate, we have several different sets of numbers...in looking at them, the basic surface are of the fin is about the same....but how they get it varies a bit. Hope this helps. Bill @perfski.com Matt Rinis are 2.46" 0.76" 6.985" 31.25" 9 degrees Wilson Bros: 2.505" 0.77" 6.88" 31" 9 degrees Factory: 2.51" .78" 6.88" 31" 9 degrees
  22. @baja Thanks for the order...skis are to arrive Tuesday morning at Nationals, and I'll verify they will also have them at the shop. I spoke today with Matt Rini, and Whitney on the ski, and I'll have Matt's numbers tomorrow, as well as Rossi's too as he'll be at Nationals. Apparently deeper than last years Vapor numbers...but we'll give you a great starting point based on their testing and what they are suggesting!
  23. We'll have skis at Nationals for sale....and as we've started to let people know we'll be there working with Radar...here you go. Also if you are going to Nationals...stop by early and grab one of the LTD Nationals shirts while they last!
  24. As Mr Jones said...the Wileys is a good option...but also might consider the Smaller Radar Vector with the aluminum plate... If you want a toe plate...do an XS HO. If we can help, reach out to Brian in our internet dept or Cathy, Danielle or Anthony in our proshop. We've sold a bunch of these skis...and if she really gets into it...you might consider adding an adjustable fin block to it. We've done this, and this allows you some really good fin numbers. Matt Rini has helped us with these and seems to really bring the ski to life!
  25. The numbers I have been given for the P-6 and Lyric are the same per Chris Sullivan. Here is the most up to date fin settings / binding placement.
