  1. Cancelled according to the cup website - bummer! Hope they can put something together tomorrow.
  2. @Horton - Nevermind... I just saw your tweet on the homepage... waiting on weather now!
  3. @Horton - Have you heard any updates on the transition progress?
  4. I think a 2-pass practice round was a good idea being that the prelims were at a different site with very different conditions.
  5. Watching April ski makes me wonder if we'll see any 39's run today - even with a 4-ball course. Like Regina said yesterday... "everyone's an underdog on the river!" It will be interesting to see what pans out. Gotta think strong skiing styles like Freddy, Will and CP will be favorites for the men or a scrap master like Tgas. My pick is Freddy for today! Regina for the ladies!
  6. Is this just the new top skin for the V-Type?
  7. It appears that all of the 2015 Masters video archives have been removed. CYA because of the slalom finals drama... hmm?
  8. Anyone else getting a 500 network error about 10-12 minutes into the Slalom and Big Dawg Semis? Can't skip past it. I've tried deleting cache, different browsers, different computers - and still no bueno. Friday's videos were fine when I watched them last night. Bummed
  9. Similar crossover challenge back in college - my ski buddy who lived on a private lake, just finished installing a new steering cable on a '94 MC. We idled out to take a set and he noticed that the steering was opposite and he screwed up on the installation. He told me, "no big deal, I'll just turn left to go right and vise-versa!" I told him he would either end up on one of his neighbors front yards or at a minimum - run over a bunch of buoys. We test drove it with the cable backwards and there was no way we could make good steering adjustments at 36mph
  10. @Skihard - Will Bush provided some good info to me when I was having similar problems. We did two things (1) inverting tachometer wires and (2) secondary throttle return spring [if its mechanical throttle]. PP/SG w/Zbox or w/o Zbox -- the acceleration is provided by the servo but the de-acceleration is provided by the throttle return spring. The original on mine was probably getting a little worn out. Adding a second spring (preferrably 5" or longer and tightly coupled spring) anchored to anything solid that has a direct line to the throttle linkage should do the trick. It's worked pretty well for me.
  11. @Horton - I would have answered "I don't know" or "not needed" a week or two ago but I noticed that my dry dock training (offside pull/lean position) my back heel lifts. My dry dock training feels natural and not forced. I also have a lot of lift damage as shown in a previous comment - suggesting that there may be lifting force occurring. I use dbl T-Factors that do allow a little heal lift but I'm not totally sold that it's truly lifting - I'm guessing. I also think I lift in the pre-turn too. By no means am I elite - just a hacker into 35'.
  12. @TFIN - I hadn't even thought about the release or lack of a release due to the resistance between neoprene and rubber. Appreciate the heads up on that!
  13. @Wish - thanks and good idea... I'll give that a whirl next time out
  14. @jwroblew - I did wear the Camaro gloves underneath a brand new pair of Radar Boas. The Boas were snug to begin with but the Camaro's still slid in. Unreal how warm those things are... I will say the lack of finger flexibility took a little getting used to. I think I extend my fingers in the turns and the boas are a curved grip and with the Camaro liners underneath - made my forearms tired quickly.
  15. I purchased the Camaro gloves and long socks from Robby's Shop. Took my 1st 2015 ride yesterday with water temp around 45'F with air temp around 60'F. The Camaro products are unreal - never felt a cold rush when I was in the water. I did have a problem getting into my T-Factors with the thermo long socks. They are so tacky against rubber bindings even with a lot of soap. I had the the bindings loosened up as much as they could go but I just couldn't ever get them in - I ended up taking the thermo socks off and my feet slid right in without them. Any pointers on how to wear the socks and get into rubber bindings? I was truly shocked that my hands felt absolutely warn the entire time. I wore a camaro black tec full suit and the beanie too. These products simply rock in cold conditions. Let me know if you have any pointers on the socks... need to figure out how to make them work.
  16. I've been searching for fin settings for a 2014 Syndicate A3 68". I've got the stock numbers off of HOs website but I was curious if @MathewBrown or Greg Badal posted their recommended settings. Appreciate the help!
  17. Come on guys the suspense is killing me. Any tidbits to share @Detrick‌ @MathewBrown @MarcusBrown, others? All the early hype and then...
  18. As a Chico State alum - it's impossible to to have one without the other. In fact, we were well oiled machines where we could ski pretty damn good even with a major hangover. Competiton... on the other hand - wasn't as good at it. The bigger the party the higher Chico climbed on the podium! Second reason for the "no" is even if I achieved my goal(s) I'd still be on the bottom half of the national rankings  might as well celebrate any time on the water with a frothy cold one!
  19. 2000 MB Sports Boss 190 (~600hrs) Wrap Design by @TWhisper PP/SG with Zbox Our first baby before we had babies
  20. appreciate it @ski38‌ - i can view it my iPhone but just not on my PC (tried Chrome & IE)
  21. bummed the feed is not working yet... wish I could just be there
  22. Thanks for the update @foxriverat‌ - I just reloaded it and I'm still not connecting. I'll keep trying
  23. Getting anxious about the live streaming feed... I keep reloading to no avail. You guys that are onsite at Bell Aqua... has the skiing begun yet?
