  1. @Ed_Johnson here is one for the Masterline Curved 13" Ergo Handle v8.1
  2. @Ed_Johnson that handle is a little different, I’m working on a version to fit.
  3. @skierjp @DonT @Laz got the handle guards headed your way, and busy cutting more! Working on some more versions, who knew there were so many different handles!
  4. @fu_man I think my daughter is off the low end of her 66” D3, but still runs in to 35 off. I agree with @Bruce_Butterfield, set the ski up to factory and adjust as needed. Btw, I am also in the low end weight for my D3.
  5. @DavidN those boots come with very rust/corrosion prone hardware, you should always remove your liners so they and the boot can dry out between ski sessions, especially in the water of Florida lakes which is more corrosive than most. You can repair that boot with new cuff bolts from an in-line skate shop, check online shops.
  6. @jerrym placing screw anchors exactly where you want them under water is challenging at the least... I have always used 12” concrete blocks filled with concrete and 3/8” stainless steel eyebolts. My apprentice:
  7. @Bdecker i can easily change between my rear half boot and the HRT. But my rear style boot is cut lower than the r style reflex boot. The HRT is a little less to deal with. I have an older version and I replaced the laces with bungy laces. Definitely go with the aluminum plate.
  8. Glad to see so many skiers interested in the handle guards, looks like I will be busy cutting more out this week!
  9. @dave2ball it has nothing to do with the boat. It is a group of buoys opposite side from one ball. Designed to help skiers learn proper gate width. A zero ball eventually gets in the way of your turn in.
  10. @Drago actually there are a lot more of us that have run 39 off, we are just a lot older now.
  11. Regardless of the exclusions, it should be a fun event. Lake 38 is an awesome site to ski. It will be a great family outing for us, my daughter is Chief Judge, my son-in-law is an appointed scorer and I am an appointed judge. Fun at the lake with our friends!
  12. @kc I have made several different versions and I can help you find one that works. Which one did you try out? Email or message me your details. Anyone else can also let me know if you need something different. I want everyone to be safe!
  13. I would really like to come out, lots of fun. But looks like we are doing a Record event at Cory Pickos’s lake that weekend. Like Mark said, got to keep supporting the local events. But, BOS is way cooler!
  14. @Edmund to be clear, the hole under the skin should be bigger than the hole drilled. That allows the epoxy to hold against the underside of the ski’s skin. Glad the system is working for you.
  15. @Edmund look on the D3 website for the inserts with the flange. I do not use a screw to tap the hole. The hole drilled should match the diameter of the body of the insert. There should be room under the ski skin for epoxy to hold the insert .
  16. @jsully I might be able to build you something from some demo systems to get you started, email me about what you need.
  17. @rockdog I’m thinking the same thing about the spacing... I just used cable ties, but paracord would work also. I have 12”, 13” and v2 guards available, using a stiffer material that will not flex as much as some.
  18. Another skier has suffered a major injury. Please find something that works for you and helps keep you safer...
  19. Unfortunately this has happened to another friend this week, just back from Nationals.
  20. @Bruce_Butterfield great to see you at Nationals. I would recommend you try a half boot rear(r style). I left double hardshell boots for the same reason, back pain from getting up. I tried a rtp, but that just did not work for me. You can also use your full height liner with a strap around the top to make the r style feel more like a full boot.
  21. @slvrbulit the guard weights next to nothing and the large loops in newer ropes allows for easy changing.
  22. I have these available, you can add the strap to the handle if wanted. They are stiff HDPE not too flexible.
  23. I have these available, you can add the strap to the handle if wanted. They are stiff HDPE not too flexible.
  24. @anklebreaker I have mounted several versions of this boot on the MOB release system. That will provide the safety you are looking for.
