  1. Do you happen to have a hot water shower? One of my ski partners had a ton of water coming on from a cracked fitting.
  2. Short answer is lock the belt tensioner back all the way with a drill bit so you can spin the pump shaft by hand, put the key at 12 so it doesn't fall out, push impeller part way in and wiggle the pump shaft to line up the key, this isn't a short answer is it? Oh yeah beer, some beer, not too much.
  3. This is slightly off this topic but I'm wondering if anyone has thoughts about a hardshell front and say a wiley rear or other rubber boot?
  4. No joke the gas gauge in my 18 works better than the one in my truck.
  5. So a bit of a long shot but do you know any auto techs? There is a gizmo in our world that uses compressed air to create a vacuum in the cooling system to fill it, mine is branded airlift. Minivans have heater cores that sit higher than any other part of the cooling system, might work for this.
  6. I vaguely recall that you can't, i feel like you make small changes to skier weight.
  7. I'm wondering if you've ever sold a boat on the way home from buying the boat?
  8. When i first ran my ps in the driveway i realized the plastic intake was too big for my faker, so i built one out of an old toilet plunger, pretty redneck but works. I can watch the water flow at the seaweed separator housing in the front corner of the bilge, it does take a while to get any water out the exhaust.
  9. Yes it had an auto pick up feature, it was a foot switch, then you would kind of follow with the throttle lever.
  10. I'm having a bigger problem with the weather than covid restrictions. I started fully 1 month late due to sucky weather, my wife is a great driver so would have been fine.
  11. Sounds like an i/o???
  12. I don't think I would trust ratchet straps, can you come up with 4 come-along's? 1 at each corner?
  13. My first thought would be check ALL the various battery cable connectors, not likely to be corroded but vibrated loose is pretty common.
  14. Mine is a 5.7, it has that noise, it's not the fan I unplugged it. Doesn't bother me much my ears are pretty shot, really does sound like a power supply I haven't cared enough to chase it down. Best of luck
  15. IMHO a truly hydrolocked motor wouldn't crank fine and start right up the next time. I've seen plenty of motors drink a little coolant and they start really hard, crank uneven, skip and pop and such for the first few seconds then maybe smooth out, I feel like this is a big stretch.
  16. Yeah, with just a driver the wake is very uneven, weight bags and go rip!
  17. Go ski it if possible, one of my ski partners had one of those for years, from what I recall the 22 bump is a little bit big but from 28 in it was really nice.
  18. I will never get sick of pics like those!
  19. Truly no disrespect intended, right now there are 3 Harley's in my garage for 2 people, and my wife is the owner of 2 of them. Anyone want a really clean little Nightster please let me know. Don't get me started on how many skis and wetsuits are in the household.
  20. Dude....... therapy, seriously.
  21. McGinnis ski school if they are still open with covid restrictions?
  22. Us Irish have known this for millennia........oh it's on
  23. Drinking a little more than i used to might just push me into the excessive category.........
