  1. There's these guys... https://www.candsmarine.com/
  2. Test rode a 67" Yeah, it's good. I'm pulling the string on one.
  3. Plano #161250 Storage Box, Marine, Orange, 15x10x8
  4. I like the orange waterproof flip-top plastic box. Can be found at harbor freight.
  5. @markn - Would you say the upgrade was worth it on the 5.7 196?
  6. @wawaskr - they simply changed how the ski was identified or measured. The XTR is a tweaked version of the XT (essentially same length mold) ...so a 66" XT is the 'same' as a 67 XTR and as SkiAlex said, a 66.75 XT is the same as a 68 XTR. Correct @Chad_Scott ?
  7. @buechsr - yeah, I saw something right off, but didn't see Yoda until you mentioned it.
  8. Just started on the 26th....and won't stop. But, my employer has sent me home with "mandatory vacation". Once that runs out, don't know what will happen. My priorities may change once the reserve funds are depleted. Then again, gas is cheap now... On a side note, I so badly want to (1st get in good ski condition) then get my hands on a C75, Lapoint, and a 9970cc and/or XTRcc
  9. @skiboyny - Nah, I believe his back and body isn't allowing it.
  10. Bump - Time to make fun of Horton again.
  11. ...saw one on FB Marketplace. A quick search yielded a couple more for sale in the SE. Just curious about the history, if anyone knows. An honorable mention on obscure inboards is "Ski-rific" Anyone remember those?
  12. The handle stays away from his body. No pulling it in at the buoy.
  13. Now I'm confused, because the RV stuff may be propylene glycol, which is supposed to be better for anti-corrosion. I'll have to read the labels to confirm.
  14. Yeah, thanks. Slooowly getting better. Still get a bit dizzy if I move too fast. Bummer is it's record warmth this week and getting cool next week. Having to skip out on preemo ski time.
  15. Ok Hortonism...delete if you must...but I'm still feeling the effects of concussion and gave up trying to grab a non-facebook video Advice: don't try to run 38 behind a loaded '97 MC 205 with no speed control on a unknown condition course. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10157546512868805&id=504583804&sfnsn=mo&d=n&vh=i
  16. I wouldn't worry about the hours if it's in good condition. I'm at 2400 ('07) and it still runs and drives great. Seriously...people used to all the latest new boats drive it and are surprised.
  17. @Milford 10-4 I'm just looking for data to help me decide, for when I do pull the trigger on a new one. Thanks.
  18. @milford - Which stiffness did you go with? What's your weight? I'm around 190lb and considered a 'tweener'.
