If you look carefully at my account picture, you will see a Tech-1 miniature finely crafted by my youngest brother for my birthday in 1977. Here's an over head view:

Mastercraft LaPoint Pro was the 1st ski I got on where I thought "Wow!".

I met Matt Connelly at a Pro Tour event when he and his dad were starting up Iconn. I ordered one of their first skis, the Opus, and I got an early enough version that it didn't have the finalized production graphics on it. But man, was that ski awesome. Got a tournament PB by about 4 buoys in probably my third set ever on it. It was the best turning ski I ever had. Auto. Mat. Ic. I really wish I'd never gotten rid of that ski.

Will I have not skied on any ski I would call the best ski ever, but I know my Dad would say the EP Stiletto. I have only skied on a HO CDX-1, HO Truth,and HO CX.

Jobe Carbon V was my first "real" ski, followed up a year later by an MC LaPoint Radius. Loved the MC.

I now love my D3 Nomad RCX and it is the best I have owned. The one that most blew my mind, way back when I first got into skiing, was My 65" Kidder Redline Graphite. It was a 1980 with a blue bottom, bought from Wiley's in Tukwila from old man Wiley, with Wiley double high wraps in blue wraps.
