Man Down

Hey Ballers,

 

Had a good fall last week and ended up collapsing my right lung; pneumothorax. Hurt like hell but didn’t think too much of it. Went two days being a tough guy until I could barely walk couple hundred feet. I’m sure it’s common knowledge to most but I also know there a lot of “ tough guys” on here. If you have chest pain of any sort don’t wait on getting checked out like me. My vitals were still amazing, the only tell tale was my breathing. Apparently taller white guys are prone to this but you just never know. Unfortunately the ski season is over for me until mid August which just means I need to take an extra trip or two down south.

 

And to those; it did not happen at radar nation day; it was last Sunday at my cottage while out free skiing. If anyone needs a spotter or driver I’m available lol.

Whoah! Get well soon man! You're right. Chest pain of any kind is nothing to be a tough guy about. Glad your prognosis is good! Mid August will be here before you know it.

Speedy recovery. The nice thing about Muskoka is even if you can't ski, just sitting on a dock watching a sunset with a cold beer makes the whole world better.

Ouch, that sucks. Get better soon. This sport is fun, but there is risk. A ski buddy just morning had an OTF and hit the ski with the head. Luckily two stitches later he is as good as new.
