  1. He also has a FB page: Gabe's Custom Marine Upholstery
  2. I retrofitted our last Malibu Response with a hot water shower. I used RV parts mainly. Used the engine drain plug as source for the hot water. No issues as long as we owned the boat. Just don't forget to include the shower in your winterizing procedure.
  3. Since you are used to D3, try one of their new skis! You can demo the ARC (I would recommend the softer flex aka ARC-S) and the new NRG. It has a little bit wider tail than the ARC. D3 offers the best demo program on the market! Let them ship both skis to you and if you like one of them, keep it. Otherwise just re-pack them, put the return label on the box and have fedex pick them up at your door. I switched from a X7 to the ARC-S last year and instantly liked it!
  4. Coming from double boots myself (RS-1/ Connelly Draft/ Vector/ Profile), I can highly recommend the Radar HRT! When I made the switch to Reflex (front boot only) I tried a rtp for a few weeks. Never could get used to it. Used one of my old Vectors for a while but never felt safe enough with that setup. Finally I tried the HRT and instantly loved it! You can tighten it down pretty good to feel snug and controlled, but due to the shape, the foot will definitely come out in a fall.
  5. At least it's STAINLESS! Finally Someone turned on his brains over at Reflex. My 750 started rusting after 4 weeks!
  6. Try a search for: GatorSkinz 3M Grit Step Pad Non-Skid Peel & Stick
  7. Had the same issue. Peeled the old tape off and put some new tape inside the clamp. (Had some leftover piece of a step pad that I could use.) Holds up since 4 years now.
  8. I have a size 8 L RS-1 (never used) and a size 9 Strada (lightly used) I would sell for cheap. (One of the pics is a side by side comparison of Strada and RS-1. Shell seems to be about the same size.)
  9. Skied the past week with Austin at his newly opened ski school (Abel Ski School) @ Mystic Waters, NC. Wow - What a site! Scenic, serene, one of a kind, ... words doesn't do it justice. Was a nice break from the (too) hot Florida water. The coaching wasn't so bad either. ;)
  10. Oh yeah, I did! New PB today at a fantastic site - Abelskischool in NC.
  11. Oldie but goodie from 2 years ago - Just 15off, but l'm working on it. I ski currently into -28 and if I'm lucky into -32. Consistency is my biggest hurdle.
  12. There had been a video last year on FB of someone skiing at 58kph with a GoPro that had a built in gps speed sensor mounted on his ski tip. The actual speed was displayed in the video screen. IIRC it went up to almost 80kph. It was maybe Trent Nelson Cranfield.
  13. Wow, definitely will check mine! Hope you are okay!
  14. Webcast is awesome. BIG congrats to the team @ Swiss! Can't wait to drive over to see the finals.
  15. Neighbor is selling his 2007 Mastercraft Prostar 197 team. 650hrs, zero off, mini tower, trailer, ... A really nice and clean boat! Located in FL, 34711 Was listed a few days ago on SIA
  16. @RAWSki - I am and it works perfect! I used to have double Radar for years (RS1 then Vector then Profile). When switching to Reflex (first black now white cuff) I tried Radar's RTP - didn't work out for me, so I switched to the HRT. LOVE it!
  17. I would go with the ACME. It is a cnc machined prop and is superior to the old forged CVP.
  18. Dang! Totally forgot about that. And it's only 15 minutes away. Love to watch world class skiing!
  19. I'm on my 2nd pair now. Like them a lot, first pair lasted one Florida season (basically 12 months of skiing) and besides a few small holes no major stretching and no ripped seams. Still keep them as a backup in the boat.
  20. Funny story, Bruce! There's no lake in Florida without gators. And even if they can be intimidating - how many skiers have been attacked by one? Exactly - none. They are more afraid of us humans than we are of them. And always keep in mind, they lived in this area long before any of us. So it's basically us who invaded their territory and these guys do the best they can to co-exist with the human species. To the OP - if you need a pull in Clermont - shoot me a PM Cheers, David
  21. Used to use 303 products but changed to Babe's Seat Saver. Less slippery after applying and wiping off. Both have UV protectants.
  22. Where are you located? I have a 66 X7 that I would part with for $150. Unfortunately no box for shipping.
