  1. I ski (and drive) a 2016 200cb occasionally and the seat is definitely on the higher side.
  2. @Horton Nope - had been in desktop version. Switched now to mobile mode - same same... (See screenshot below.)
  3. Doesn’t work on my iPad. There’s no link button.
  4. Sounds like the 2010 / 2011 Malibu FXI is your best bet here. Designed with a higher freeboard to handle choppy water, built to accommodate 10 people, OB DD with all the amenities a family can ask for and all that based on the 3-Event proven sv23 cut diamond hull.
  5. What is he trying to accomplish with hanging on the handle for so long?
  6. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but for me a handshake is a done deal. Period. And that's for both sides!
  7. I'd also consider some of the d3 skis. I found them always to be really reliable, predictable and easy to ride. (Maybe with the exception of the X7.) They offer a solid foundation to improve.
  8. It's the ideal situation to test a ski before you buy, unfortunately that's not always possible. Then you have to rely on ski tests, reviews or recommendations. If I were in your shoes, I would buy used, as with progress the need for new material will come faster than you think!
  9. Get rid of that Siege! I had one many many years ago and it was probably the worst ski I ever owned. Unpredictable, unstable, unforgiving, ...
  10. Reflex recommends a 2 Year interval in fresh water and a 1 year in brackish/salt water. Mine is in it's second season and I'm planning to replace it at the end of the season with the new stainless release. Per Reflex HP it will fit the older style boots/plates.
  11. Could we not just get back on topic here?
  12. Gonna be a tight fit with a size 12 foot. If you start with both feet in it will work. Kicking in - probably not.
  13. Wow! Have to check that on my (same) setup. I had my worst crash ever, a few weeks ago due to a pre-release off the 2nd wake. Hope not to find the same issue here!
  14. Here is a picture of my trailer all covered up. I was mostly worried about the carpet on the trailer bunks rotting due to our harsh sun and daily rain during the summer months. The universal boat cover holds up pretty well. It used to be black, now badly faded but still watertight. It's a little hassle everytime I have to use the trailer, (2 times in 2.5 years now), but it is worth to me.
  15. I built a flat supporting frame out of wood on top of the trailer, put a cheap universal boat cover over it, strapped it down as tight as possible and covered the tires. It sits outside in the Florida sun since 2.5 Years now. Still all good.
  16. What @Horton said! I had a pretty bad pre-release with my Reflex 750 adjusting it just by the chart. Half a turn more tension on the spring and it's perfect now.
  17. @BraceMaker Same situation here - after last years ARC / ARC-S hype I HAD to have one. Initial impression was pretty promising and I felt like it offers a good potential of improving my skiing compared to my old X7 or my (even older) Z7. But after almost a year now on the ARC-S my buoy count hasn't improved as much as I was hoping for. In fact I hopped on the old Z7 last week and was able to ski the exact same as on the current ARC-S. Quite disappointing. I'm fully aware that it's not the ski that holds me back, and if I would have invested the $1.600 in coaching it would probably have gotten me further than buying the new ski. Nonetheless - here we are again, drooling over that magic new ski.
  18. I will have the chance to test a 66 Inch c-65 next week! Reading all the positive reviews on it, I'm really looking forward to that!!! But I'm just a 34 mph -22/-28 off skier trying to get a bit deeper into -32.
  19. ProSkiCoach has some settings. https://goo.gl/BgX1VM
  20. @sunvalleylaw Yes, I had the opportunity to try the yellow one as well. Liked the blue one better. I'm a pretty lightweight skier, so soft flex always worked better for me. The yellow ARC might have been a bit faster cross course, but less smooth around the ball. (For me) and I found it a bit less forgiving.
  21. I am currently on a D3 ARC-S. I came from a D3 Z7st and a D3 X7. (Was alternating between those two for about 2 1/2 years before I switched.) The ARC-S rides like a typical D3 ski, just a bit more "refined". So no surprises here. It is very predictable and forgiving, turns incredibly smooth and is still fast across the wakes. It is/was actually the first ski that allowed me to make up time & even angle between the buoys @ 55k. I have no experience with Radar skis though, but as a D3 skier, the ARC is definitely a ski you will like!
  22. Radar bindings will mount to the D3 ARC just fine as long as you stay with the sequence plate or the double aluminum plates. If you plan on getting Radar "Feather Frame" bindings, the front will mount as is, but on the rear binding you have to widen up the rear mounting holes slightly. (No big deal though.)
