  1. Here are the numbers for the 2007 F1 http://www.proskicoach.com/skis/connelly/f1/2007 Binding placement is measured from the tail of the ski to the back of the rubber (heel) on the front boot.

  4. And did I mention that during our long summer it rains almost every day? ;)
  5. @rockdog made a valid point. Took me a couple years to get used to the muggy summers down here. 8 months above 85° combined with that crazy humidity Is definitely wearing on you! And it’s not for everyone. I’ve been to Arizona, Nevada & Utah this summer (94° - 98° at the time there) and it felt totally different, the dry heat is much easier to handle and not as exhausting as the south Florida climate. My advice would be, to come down during the really hot and muggy months (June - September) and spend a couple days in our climate before you make any decision.
  6. I‘m also interested in what’s @kc bringing up above, about different fins for different ski manufacturers. A D3 fin for example won't fit a 2018 Connely GT with the Viper 2.0 fin box. The mounting holes are placed slightly different and the set screws are not in the exact same location. Even the 2017 GT fin is different from the 2018 model. For a $300 piece I sure wouldn’t want to have it to file down or drill additional holes to get it to fit my fin box. I would be interested in a fin for a 2018 KD Platinum, but you can’t select the option “KD” on your website.
  7. What’s with all these polls recently?

  9. When I switched to a Reflex front boot, coming from 10+ years of skiing Radar double boots, I ended up with the Radar HRT. I didn’t like a full rear boot in combination with the Reflex front. (First I couldn’t get the boot spacing right, but more importantly, I didn’t like that setup from a safety perspective.) I couldn’t make an rtp work, tried a few different models but felt totally out of control. The Radar HRT gave me the stability of a rear full boot and the mobility and safety of an RTP. I still had to space the boots a bit larger than I used to, but there’s no way around with the Reflex release. I took a couple good crashes with that setup over the years, but never had an issue coming out of the HRT even though I pull it very tight when I ski.

Try it out. But remember it’s not only the stern of the boat that affects wake size, it’s the overall displacement of water while in motion that shapes and builds up a wake.

If you just want to flatten the wake, the most effective thing you can do is to get rid of overall weight in the boat. Empty out what you can. Remove backseat, keep the tank below 1/3, ... Putting ballast upfront usually helps tracking, not so much flattening the wake. I hid a 40lbs weight disc plate in the bow of my Response which noticeably improved tracking at slower speeds (30/32). It didn’t effect the wake (which is pretty good anyway) at all.

I think it was just way too expensive. I personally liked it a lot! Not enough to upgrade from my good old 2010 Response CB though.

  21. For me it’s still not working properly. Category “slalom” doesn’t come up instead I get that screen: Main page somewhat works, buttons and graphics missing, lots of dead links. It looks like that: I tried it on 2 different iPads with different browsers... Any ideas?
