Newer ski time as previously suggested. You will be amazed at the difference and it will be much easier to get back in to ski shape on modern equipment.
I would probably be disappointed if my 4-5 year old ski failed, but would not expect the manufacturer to help with that many miles on it. And, If I really liked the ski I would probably look at new models of the same brand to replace it. Skis break, they wear out, some quicker than others.
Not one of the big 3's, but Sangers of that era were good ski & barefoot boats. I had a 95 open bow; buddy loved the barefoot wake, very adequate in the course, and roomy for the kids. Wish I had not sold it!
I'm 64 and 2 years overdue for a new hip. 5 yrs ago I could make an occasional 34/15. Today I warm up at 30, go to32 if my body says it's ready. Rarely crash and able to go to work the next day. Really happy to run half my 32/15's these days.
Really enjoyed watching. For me, all the colored lines were a great to help to follow your thoughts. Only problem is now I am going to bed with a brain ache!
Careful with the standing start. I did them many times a day in my 20's, easy peasy; fast forward to 62 yrs old and tried one; hamstring not happy the rest of the season. My buddy does both feet in sitting down, we idle out and he has us do an easy acceleration when he's down to 1/2 a slack loop. Never go past 1/2 throttle to get him going.
I believe the servo thing with the busted wire is your Perfect Pass servo, not a safety and should not have anything to do with your no spark condition.
If you have not already done so, join the MalibuCrew; fantastic resource for all things Malibu and they have great "no start troubleshoot" stuff to keep you busy reading for hours!!
Is it just me, or does it seem kind of fishy that Xpropman wants you to call him for the fix. I have seen this same response from him in other threads several times now. Why would you not just post "the fix" for all to benefit from. Feels like when I get an EMail - open now you're a contest winner!
Ok, how many of you guys pull your boats out after their long winter's nap and do any pre-oiling exercise vs starting it up as is? (Maybe an interesting poll question)
I'm your height/age, 10 lb lighter, ski on an HO Superlite & Animal double boots (2017), pre dates the current HO crossover skis. I love the ski in the course, have been 28 to 34 mph, 30-32 these days. See if HO has their demo program going.
