  1. I had a tenodesis right biceps at shoulder end; 8 wk in sling, was skiing at 16 weeks. Have better range of motion & no pain vs my "good shoulder" which recent mri says that biceps tendon is fraying :( A PT friend told me tenodesis is no longer as popular as when I had it done; maybe discuss that with your ortho. I am 100% satisfied with my outcome. BTW post op PT is your friend!!
  2. Maybe recheck with your doc or PT once more before letting the boat pull on you!
  3. How deep are the anchors; when you say 1/2 missing, do you have at least one boat guide or one turn ball for all 6 intact? A good fish finder can help you spot buried anchors.
  4. How about @savaiusini input
  5. I am not a tournament skier, but this rope issue seems so easy to resolve. It's a piece of our equipment, just like a ski, bindings, vest, gloves, handle, ZO setting... we all have individual equipment preferences. If a rope brand/type meets tournament specs, why can't a skier be given their choice of rope for their pull, as long as it's available?
  6. @Mike Gile I had heard of a lake that was built quite awhile ago but didn't go through the proper permit process and so it was killed - is this the same lake?
  7. @ral here's my update - tried 4 28's in 2 sets, too slow/sinking. Since then, 1st set 3 30's then 3 32's; have only missed one 30 since last post. They are a nice warm up and help get the creaks out! This moring, 1st set ran all 3 30's and all 3 32's; couldn't tell you the last time I managed 6 full passes. 2nd set ran 2 30's then nice face plant around 6 ball at 32. Oh well, try try again tomorrow!
  8. If the locker is going to be in full sun, maybe install a small solar powered fan to keep some air flow.
  9. I want to know about Stinky's & Elmos!! Sounds like great after ski eatries.
  10. @tlarocque Which lake in WA?
  11. Sorry, I cannot get non members a ride at HT :(
  12. When you said 10 years it jogged a memory of a previous discussion on cable replacement as a basic maintenance item. Here's the link; sounds like yours is due for a change. https://forum.ballofspray.com/discussion/25570/psa-on-steering-cables
  13. Since you are talking chronic problem (6+ months) I would find a sports med doc before trying further remedies.
  14. +1 for trying grip switch. It will not fix your injuries, but may make them feel much better - which means you are not stressing them as much while finding a good doc to fix things.
  15. @adamhcaldwell Can you further explain why more important? I ski 32/15off on an HO Superlite.
  16. Can hardly wait to win so I can drive @AdamCord nuts getting him to help me with proper setup!
  17. @Powerocker @bbskier I am overdue for a THR (back leg); thing holding me back is I run my vet hospital as a solo veterinarian, so when I'm down, pets don't get help & hard to pay the staff. Can you give me any expectations on how long post op before I can spend 6+ hours a day on my feet? Staff can wrestle the crazy dogs but my job is not at a desk. BTW my surgeon said I could ski after 16 weeks but don't think I will be that brave!
  18. Hilltop up to 56 on Saturday - great to feel my feet again!
  19. A poll was just posted re music but not available for everyone to vote. Any chance this can be moved? Thanks!!
  20. Is there any water in Tucson? (besides what's dumped on the golf courses)
  21. I know this was about the boat, but gotta say that was some pretty fine skiing!
  22. Buddy had one at HT this morning. I really like the "self tightening" loops like @RGilmore mentioned. they should easily slip over a Malibu pylon.
