  1. @ALPJr we are just 4 old guys who ski every week for 2 hrs at Bow lake and try to make the most of it! We enjoy skiing, eating and hanging out together. We also try to ski as much as possible together during the rest of the week and have been known to take a few road trips together ? life is too short not to enjoy doing the things you like to do with the friends you have. Can’t imagine not having this time together. Wednesday is still the best day of the week!
  2. The Wednesday night crew celebrated SPAM night at Bow lake in honor of Monty Python. We had spam musubi, spam fried rice, spam potato salad, bacon wrapped spam roast and mixed greens and finished the night off with maple spam ice cream. Just another Wednesday night at Bow lake. And yes the skiing conditions were perfect except that @Rednucleus tweaked his hamstring again ☹️ and was unable to ski although he does make a good boat driver?. Next week is our annual wing fest stay tuned
  3. @cacman better yet get some seals from Wiley’s and bring your drysuit up to Bow lake some Wednesday night soon and have @Rednucleus repair them for you. He does all the repairs for the Wednesday night crew and his rates are very reasonable, usually a bottle of Scotch will do the trick ?

    Heaters

@rockdog I wired my with a separate switch from my heater. Only use the circulation pump when at idle no need when pulling a skier as the engine is turning enough rpms to pump out enough heat

    Heaters

@Hofftoski here is the heater I installed in my boat. I mounted it in front of the drivers seat. I have 2 of the vents aimed at the driver and the 3rd one I attached a flex hose so it can be pulled out and used by the passenger https://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS/555/70602/10002/-1

    Heaters

@Hofftoski I put a heater and a circulating pump in my 2002 Sunsetter LXI and they work great. Did the whole job for under $300. Just ask @Rednucleus how much he enjoys the heater. He even runs it during the summer season at Bow lake. Also installed a hot water shower to make it easier to get into our Wiley bindings during the cold water season and for warming up our hands and feet during the winter ski season
  8. @thager first off sorry about your phone! The Wednesday night crew has a saying for occasions like this “better you then me” ????
  9. 3 of the 4 members of the Wednesday night crew along with my wife and son all have the Stokes suits. Can’t be more pleased with the fit, warmth, and durability. The other member of the Wednesday night crew has a Blacktec and has had issues with it’s durability. Plus the customer service from @Thomasasher is the best.
  10. @bananaron what is the next “PRISTINE “ boat you have your eye on?

  20. @Rednucleus I didn’t realize you knew so much about skis I thought you were just a fin Tweeker ?
  21. @Intheday that’s usually what the Wednesday night crew does at Bow lake with @Rednucleus. If he screams like a little girl it is usually drysuit time. If he just moans it is long wet suit time. And if he just groans it is time for his 3/4 Stokes. The rest of us ski in shorts and a rash guard most of the summer?
  22. What’s the big deal with water temp? Just get in and SKI. ?
