  1. @MNshortliner my thoughts exactly! I thought @bananaron never had a boat that wasn’t “pristine” ? can’t wait for his explanation
  2. @Sethro really it took you a whole day to come up with that line??????
  3. 3/4 of the Wednesday night crew made a return trip to Baker lake today ( still no @Rednucleus ☹️) with my wife joining us. Beautiful day with air temps in the mid 80’s and the crystal clear water in the low 70’s. Only problem was Sockeye salmon opened this weekend and the lake was full of fishing boats☹️ Good thing the lake is so big that we were able to find some decent water.
  4. @dvskier when hasn’t @bananaron ever bought a boat that wasn’t “pristine”? ?
  5. @jjackkrash that is the spot I spend a week every August. Water conditions are great all day long and you can free ski for about 50 miles or so between dams. There is even a course set up close to Entiat. We rent a Vrbo on the river just north of the park and some of my kids stay at the park. It is a very nice park with a good boat launch plus the nearest gas is right by the park entrance if you have a Pacific Price card?
  6. @sunnydaysmn I have a Stokes Nitro 2.0 vest and it doesn’t retain much water and dries quickly
  7. 3/4 of the Wednesday night crew made a day trip to beautiful Baker lake yesterday to do some free skiing missed you @Rednucleus. Even though only the bottom 1/2 of the mountain was visible the scenery was spectacular. The water was a clear blueish-green at 60 degrees. We were the only boat on the 7 mile long lake and the water conditions were perfect. Gots lots of free skiing in and Doug even long line barefooted. Stopped at Birdsview brewery for a beverage on the way back. Made it to Bow lake just in time for our 5 o’clock set. What a great day!
  8. The Wednesday night crew celebrated another birthday tonight with Ken turning 64. We had another Malaysian feed provided by Allison an employee of @Rednucleus. On the menu were pig head, pig trotters, glass noodles, duck soup tongue tacos and some kind of rice dish that I can’t pronounce or spell?. Then finished off with fresh strawberry home made ice cream and cake. Another great night of skiing eating and fellowship! What a great group of friends!
  9. Go with the Stokes you won’t be disappointed! Both @Rednucleus and I have a Stokes vest and really like them. @Rednucleus bought his this year after using his old vest for what seems like forever. If you know him he knows quality and a good product and won’t buy just any thing. Plus the customer service from @Thomasasher is over the top!
  10. @hammerski I have heard great things about Ski Paradise Acapulco and it is on my bucket list. Trying to get the rest of the Wednesday night crew to make this trip with me some winter. Next year we are planning a week long house boat trip on lake Roosevelt on the Columbia river in eastern Wa along with our annual week on lake Curlew. So many ski destinations so little time. Can’t wait till I retire so I have more free time. Only 1 1/2 years left ??
  11. Have to agree with @Horton this is Ball of Spray forum not Ball of big wakes forum!?
  12. Well I guess that’s one way to cool off in a hurray ?
  13. This is the home of the Wednesday night crew. Anyone wanting to come try out the lake is more than welcome to come join us during our regular Wednesday time slot 5-7. Just remember to come ready to enjoy a fun time and come hungry because we always have a great meal after skiing. Just ask @Rednucleus ?
