  4. @PondTraveller I started skiing at tournaments 2 years ago and had the same type of questions. Here is the advice I got. Hope it helps.
  5. @Edbrazil The last 2 years we attended the Friday social at the Hall of Fame, never made to the dinner on Saturday, alwys flying home Saturday. Not sure on the week, if its the last where there. Beem tring to plan a trip when there is a launch, been to the center and it's fantastic. We normally fly in and out of Tampa and thought about McMormick too. The coast trip is more for my wife, but a really can't complain, I'm in Florida skiing.
  6. @disland I've surfed a couple of times in San Diego, any recommendations where to go. @andjules Gulf side starting at Eden, Atlanta side Chets.
  7. With all of this discussion about change, a change sounds good. Like a Florida ski trip in April. Planning on starting south for a few days. Then take our time and do some site seeing, (possibly get a site in too), on our way up to Travers. Never been down in southern part of the state, were not sure about which coast to go up?
  8. I have number duplicate items for sale on Ski-it-again.
  9. Wedge up, down or off on a TXI, wakes the same. Same with our LXI.
  10. For a club ski boat, possibly the wedge bracket only and no tower. Tower and wedge for a non club boat. Our personal boat has both. The tower is great, (mini). We don't wakeboard offen, but do skate and ski from it. It's great to have the bimini attached to it, don't need to take it down when covering up.
  11. My wife had @dbski make one for us last Christmas. I'm still amazed at the wokmanship.

    Which boat

I've been off this week, nasty bug and had some time to catch up on a couple other ski, boat sites. With every model year there is a lot of discussions about which boat has the best wakes, blah, blah, blah. So my question is, If there was a way not to know which boat your skiing behind, would you be able to tell? I've been lucky to have skied all 4 manufactures that past 2 years. I'm not a great skier, on a good day a can get a couple at 28 off and I don't think I could tell.
  19. Never had a kill switch until our 2005. That clip to lock to switch in the closed position has never worked properly, opens the switch for no reason so it was jumped out.
  20. I would go with the Masterline large Pro-Locks, I could never get the Radar gloves to fit.
  21. Tivoli Gardens on Google map from 6-23-16. Believe that's my truck at the boat house. http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j263/onamission1/Mobile%20Uploads/2016-12/1482193747973_zps7hhmmwgq.jpg
  22. Looks like the boot thats probably in box from edgewaterski.com/ that needs an unboxing.
