Well just my luck my PerfectPass system went down. Display froze and buttons would not work, turned power on and off, nothing but the back light on the display. Looks like it's time to upgrade to the z-box.

Looks like I need to change up practice and start at 30 or 32 and then move up. Haven't skied at 30 in forever, should be interesting along with trying to teach a couple of people how to change speed on the fly.

@MattP. That's a good question. Last year at this time a would start at 34 @ 22 off, and get around 3-4-5 @ 28. This year I started at 32 @ 15 off the first time we went south. The second time we worked at 34 @ 15 off. Made a few passes, but it was a week of learning. At home we we just got our course up. Started at 34 @ 15 off, been out 3 times, first time was behind a new TXI that the OZ was surging all over the place, second time had wallets half way through my second pass, last time ran up to 5 ball once. Hopefully I can more good practice sets in the middle of next month.

Kind of a love hate relationship, only using it on my bad hand. Lovery the added grip strength but miss handle sometimes.

Thanks Ballers for all the good advice. Next question is rope length and speed to start, I have been running 4 to 5 ball's at 34.2 @ 15 off at the moment.

Tried doing this last year, but had an injury 4 days before and had to cancel and take the rest of the year off. Any advice on what to bring and expect would be appreciated. Tournament is June 20th at Hidden Lake in MI.

@lpskier All the fun happens at the bar. My wife is dancing to Jimmy Buffett with margaritas, also dangerous. I did bring my clubs down also, with my one hand starting to get a little tore up in wasn't in the cards.

Sounds like the week I just had a Sunset Lakes with all the great skiers there. We got the chance to go the social at the Waterski Hall of Fame, what a blast.

My wife just got a 65" lyric for Christmas and loved went she skied it Florida last month. She hasn't been on a ski in about 5 years, not really a course skier and about the same size.

58 Boat is ready, just waiting for the ice to melt.

Heading back down in April for a week, had the Correct Craft plant tour set for an afternoon and now find out the plant is shutting down for expansion.

@Luzz I guess as an aid to start out with and see where it goes from there. Unfortunately there seems to be one or two of us Ballers that have some sort of on or off the water injury that will change how we ski and any type of positive help or feedback should be helpful.

Well here is a short review of the Radar Lyric from my wife. First off, she has not skied for at least 5 years, almost got up on the first try and then up and down the lake for 3 passes on the second try. She said the boots are very comfortable and the ski was not squirrelly and turned well. Only problem was all those buoys out there. :D

@bananaron Wife says we live in Hockey Town and I'm not going to tell she's wrong, she just let me take her on ski vacation :) . Had to plow the driveway this morning, about 3" and started to plow in the shape of the course.
