  1. Yeah, I think I would go with @OldboyII and get a few places purchased, PLUS, the "necessary" Snake and Gator Removal Service to be on staff 24/7 for places southeast of the PNW!
  2. Out of curiosity...what is the general consensus on why trailer companies seem to have gone away from the bow crash pad design, and have gone with the front roller design? I have never had any issues with our old DHM with bow crash pads on steep or shallow ramps with our '99.
  3. @Prostar2010 with the Craft Cover, It is a towable cover, and I have needed absolutely no support poles to keep it from puddling water. Sheds water like a duck! :). Dave and his crew are top notch, and will take care of you and support their product.
  4. @Prostar2010 I would call Dave @ Hoglunds. He purchased Rankin Covers (now, called Craft Covers) and has all the templates for custom Sunbrella covers. I had him make our cover for our 1999 SN, and it is awesome!
  5. @MS we owned a lot at Southern Waters for about 6-years, but only made it down (from Washington State/Seattle) 4x in that 6-yr period. We purchased the lot for $27K, FSBO, sold it 6-yrs later for $25,500. Great people down there, but seemed like it wasn't being kept up quite as well as when we first purchased in 2007. As it was, the site skied great, and beautiful countryside on your way out to the lake. Can't beat the price out there.
  6. Like any other athlete, when skiers have a small "slump" in their performance, what is your recommendation for moving forward? Ski/train more or less, change equipment, or see their Physical Therapist more often? ;)
  7. I think innovation is a great thing, even if that innovation is at a price point out of us average-joe's market. As far as price point goes, look at the Mapple Edition 200's, even with a limited number built, they were sold. Another point as well, usually "new" innovation will make it down to the average market at some point in the future...that is, if it is beneficial to the design. Either way, it will be fun to watch the developments as they come!
  8. OSUwaterskier just curious, where did you ground your amp in your 1999 SN? We have a 1999 SNOB, and I have thought of running an amp, but haven't researched where I might ground it.
  9. @hfbs I would be more than willing to get you out to ski too. Like KRoundy, I also am up in the Lake Stevens area. If you are looking for contacts for the private lake scene, I can get you in contact with those as well. Cheers, Todd
  10. I will really miss Waterski mag. Unfortunately, I had paid up my subscription for two years, and I just received notice that "they are sorry for the cancellation of the magazine, but in it's place, are sending me Boating magazine for the remainder of my subscription." .I really have no need for Boating magazine, looking at yachts and fishing boats. Very disappointing...
  11. Awesome @AdamCord ! Great insight and clear instructions! Love it!
  12. I have bought a ski, and sold (probably) 5 skis, as well as bindings on SIA. I have never been bitten, and like mentioned up above by @LeonL , I have also shipped before receiving a check. I have since gone with PayPal to receive payment, even though I haven't had a negative experience previously. I have found everyone that I have dealt with very honest and positive. Best of luck! :)
  13. My 2012 deleted Laramie @jayski
  14. @Horton check out the Green Mountain brand of pellet grill. My understanding is this: Traeger has been sold a few times, now mostly constructed out of the USA. Some of the original Traeger employees started Green Mountain, and perfected all of the little details "missing" from the Traeger brand.
  15. +1 FSSPCat! USB's are the best multi axis core recruitment tools out there. Do a few Bear Crawl drags and MAX Lunges and any good athlete will be gassed.
  16. I give a resounding "+1" to the HO Syndicate Hardshell! I came from a Reflex, and had some pre-release issues (mostly b/c I wasn't keeping close enough attention to the plastic heel set-screws). Haven't had one pre-release with the HO.
  17. I absolutely loved my HO S2, and recently saw one on Ski-It-Again. It really helped me progress in the course, and was the first ski I went from -15 to 28 on. You might check those out weekendshredder
  18. @BCM I have a '99 GT-40 SN, and like mentioned above, I disconnect the hose going from the transmission to the cooler (at the cooler), put an extension hose to drop through the drain plug hole in the bilge, with a pan below to catch. Seems to get more than I have been able to via a pump at the transmission dip stick.
  19. I wear a 10 on average with most shoes, and the 10/11 Syndicate Hardshell fit great with the HO liner.
