  1. @Deanoski do you have mechanical throttle or DBW?
  2. For N 34.2 I was at 21/34/15 and tried to tweak from there but got surging, I put these numbers right back in and surging went away, times were 16.97 to 17.02. At this setting it seems slow down a little when the boat is at 4 and 5 ball. I do have a small engine so bigger skiers have larger variances No Zbox, not sure if that would help
  3. This is a great thread, I hope @GAJ0004 and everyone else gets dialed. Not to hijack but maybe it’s time to find some favorable settings for specific boat and engine set ups? Maybe the feedback can help PP with their next upgrade? I feel like they are close and would love to see them close the gap with mechanical throttles so we don’t have to get new boats (either ZO or DBW) I have 02 SN CB small engine pro sport 5.0 275 HP SG version 9.12 I feel like the best rides were when I put the upgrade in and just ran it out of the box, this was with experienced driver I think it is still driver dependent to a degree with my boat. I have tried the spring, resetting, and BG setting adjustments. These pics show a pass at 28 off as smooth as I can hit it (was very smooth) times and the settings for that pass I may try Zbox cuz overall I love my boat and I may reset, recal, and remap (always a good time) and start from the beginning again!
  4. I would’ve thrown ours off a cliff if I could have got it off the bottom of the lake. -no dis to accu sink I respect all ski supporting companies current or defunct they have all been great We rebuilt one once out of an old system for a public lake, was a ton of work with little ski return (always fun building weird stuff though) I’ve skied a Wally they have a great system
  5. Someone may have an old accusink if they haven’t thrown it off a cliff.
  6. As long as possible, I was shown to try and run easier passes with 2 hands the whole time. When things feel funky at my easier passes I like to focus on keeping 2 hands on the handle as long as possible, if it feels awkward to me then it confirms I’m doing something different (from whatever was not working before)
  7. Awesome skiing, shouldnt a bad boat path be reviewed and determined on the spot so skier can get a reride?
  8. A very fast and easy fix is to put 6 green "novice" buoys in the middle of the arms, meter the lead lines to the arms to make sure there is tension, weve been doing it this way for years, plus we have a mini course for beginners or INT novice skiers.
  9. Typically I don’t mention manufacturers publicly cuz I’m pretty much just happy to be on the water doing anything but Radar is correcting this for me and I can’t really say enough about how they have handled every single issue I’ve ever had with any radar product, they are great, I don’t ski like a pro but they treat me like one. just FYI.
  10. Does anyone know if my g10 sequence plate will line up with a 2012 d3 ski with the rear 3 hole pattern? Ty
  11. Plus one on “end weight and deflate” get em slightly below the halfway point and you can defy death when you go right at it.
  12. What will you do with the prototype? Can it be tossed aside if it is not aligned with the new specifications?
  13. @adamhcaldwell Adam, congratulations! What a great achievement, from the ski development, to the technique, to the 43 off! I’ll never forget those long days in RI and those crazy trips to CA. They will always be a part of my skiing. Marc, P. M. and I will try and make it down there soon. FYI: this is the only time Sandi has ever said: “why don't you get that ski?”
  14. Me and my friends discuss this all the time, there are so many scenarios to consider and be weary of. We’ve discussed a scenario where if you had to you could run your boat for 20 minutes and we bet the risidual heat after shutting it down would probably get you through a night-yknow if one were to let it get to that extreme. Many scenarios to consider.
  15. Hi, looking to get my hands on a used strada/vapor or d3 in a 66, thank you!
  16. @skiboyny ok sounds good, and that is for 34.2 on normal?
  17. Update: there is adjustable baselines so going back to older tweaks of lowering blines is possible In bg settings mi e has zbx, kx, and abc, do these do anything?
  18. @skiboyny 2002 sn cb with 5.0 275hp eco, good setup plenty of time to engage. Bg default is 08/50/35 I’ve tried 13/50/35, 02/50/35, and 00/50/35 with no concrete result. It skies 10 times better than v7 for sure just thought I might be able to tweak 1ball I’m going to try my autocal idea
  19. @skiboyny I have been watching 2 ball times towing skiers at 34. Boat slides in a little hot decelerates right at gate (to adjust for 1 ball) and hits 1ball anywhere from 1.74 to 1.76. 1 to 2 is within .01 every time I experimented with bg settings all o er the place they don’t seem to affect much. I’m thinking about doing an autocal with nothing in the boat try and trick it into finding slightly lower baseline for 34.2 and engage and set sooner? I definitely feel a slight drop in speed as it hits the gate I would love to tweak that out of there. Thanks!
  20. V9 has improved my situation drastically, she’s still decelerating a little bit from gate to 1 (coming in a little hot and compensating at gate to 1 segment) making the gate feel a little strange. What’s the best tweak for that? I’ll call PP too they have always been super helpful.
  21. 2002 nautique with 5.0 pro sport. Setting rpm to inverted is night and day difference, does not run right at all set to standard.
