There is nothing better or easier then teaching them off a boom. It decreases the learning curve tenfold. Holding on to the boom the person gets up immediately on the first try. Once they get the feel of being on top of the water and getting control of the ski, you can move to a three foot long rope. There is no better way to teach someone to slalom.

That's $100 for both boots and the binding/rails, right? And you only have ONE adapter plate?

I have the Syndicate Hardshell front and the HO choptop on the rear which I really like. But apparently HO has done away with the choptop (its not on your website any longer). So what good options does HO provide for the rear foot if somebody has the hardshell in the front? I am not a toe-loop guy.

I was setting the fin on my new Syndicate Omni when I ran into an issue. The screw that adjusts fin depth isn't even close to being long enough. I turned it all the way down yet it didn't even come close to moving the fin downward. I had to try to set the depth by hand! Did I just get a bad screw? @savaiusini Garn

I have a 2007 Moomba LS. It is a considered a crossover boat but with heavy emphasis on slalom. It is a direct drive which is a big bonus. But the boat is slightly bigger than a regular tournament DD. It also comes with a balance tank in the back. I love it. I have skied it into 32 off. I have a friend who has skied 35 off on it and said he didn't even think about the wake. Yet it can make a decent (not huge) wakeboard wake. I love my boat.

Was at Wade Cox clinic a couple of years ago and he was telling this incredible story of meeting Joe Perry and skiing with him. He kept everybody in stitches.

In one of the water ski videos that were made quite a few years ago (Edged in Water II maybe?) a bunch of pro skiers were at a lake in a houseboat. Marcus Brown and Will Asher put two non-stretch wakeboard ropes together and went out and skied behind it. So that would have been 150 feet. I did it a couple of times just to try it when I was at Lake Powell. It was fun! Something different for sure. -

I have the 2007 Moomba Mobius LS which is a direct drive. It too came with the Moomba cruise which is worthless. I installed PP Stargazer on it. You can purchase it directly from PP. Just go to their website. They even have a faceplate that says Moomba on it. I did not do it myself. I purchased it from PP and then had someone, a boat mechanic who knew what they were doing, install it. So I'm sorry but I can't give you any advice on how to install it.

Easy and simple solution. I replaced the block plugs in my boat with a ball joint. Now if I'm worried about freezing I just reach down and open the ball joint on each side. It takes about 1 second. And then the block drains. Simple as that.
