  1. I have to give my vote to the Carbon Omni. I think it is one of the best skis on the market! A true game changer. With what HO calls clean-edge technology, it is just effortless to ski on. It has so much less drag than other skis. Fast, predictable, easy to gain width, less work on your body - incredible ski. My family swears by it.
  2. Neither, the new HO wetsuit. Love it!
  3. Yes, you can demo the HO hardshell. If you don't like it you can return it and all you will have paid is the shipping fee.hosports.com/demo
  4. Hi @Chris Rossi What do you do to know when to pull out for the gates? Do you look for where the boat is in relation to the 55s? Do you line up something else? And as the rope gets shorter, do you pull out slightly later?
  5. How did you come up with that "interesting" boot configuration that you use? Snow boots, correct? Isn't that incredibly heavy?
  6. Jeff Rogers was exposed to the Coronavirus. The virus is now on 14 day quarantine.
  7. @aupatking @mbabiash Thank you!
  8. @mbabiash I don't see a r-style rear boot on Goode's website.
  9. I really think you can't get a better rope for the money then HO's Syndicate rope. It is literally half the cost of anyone elses and the quality is just as good. Asher wouldn't use it if it wasn't as good as anything else out there.
  10. I went skiing with @Brady early one morning. We drove out to the lake. Brady hooked up the boat trailer while I climbed in the boat. Brady backed the boat into the water. I was looking back when I noticed a buoy or something under the water to the side of the boat. I thought what is that. I looked at the truck while Brady was pulling forward and realized that there was no trailer attached to the truck! Brady didn't lock the trailer to the hitch! So when he backed in the trailer came off the hitch and just rolled into the lake! The buoy I was looking at was the trailer guide under the water with the trailer! I just started laughing! I had heard of people doing such a boner move but I didn't think Brady would be one of them! LOLOL!
  11. RUSH! Any Rush! Having said that, I'm with @markn . I really don't listen to music while on the boat. I prefer being able to talk with the others in the boat. I love the sound of the water, of nature, or the quietness of the lake.
  12. I just have to say that way back when I started this thread complaining that my conference in Orlando was cancelled so I can't go out to Rini's place, I had no idea that it would result in over 300 comments. That is definitely a record for me.
  13. I love my Adrenaline Drysuit. It is 13 years old and still has the original seals.
  14. @rodecon Adrenaline is out of business? For how long? Their website is still up.
  15. Damn this stupid coronavirus! I was scheduled to come out to Orlando the first week of April for a work conference. I was staying two extra days so I could get some coaching from Matt Rini. I just received an email that the conference has been cancelled because of the coronavirus scare. I am pissed!! Personally I think this is being blown way out of proportion. Now it is affecting my ski plans!
  16. Thank you everyone for your input.
  17. I haven't heard much talk about this fin. Has anyone used it? Can you tell a difference between it and your regular fin? Garn
  18. I have so much respect for Wade. I've been lucky enough to ski with him a few times when he has come out to Utah. Not only is he a world class coach, but my gosh, what a story teller! He constantly had us splitting a gut laughing! And great job @MarcusBrown .
  19. I'd have to go with Dave Wingerter. I think what he is doing with HO is truly innovative.
  20. I think the Omni would be the perfect ski for you. It is so easy to ski yet is capable of taking you to quite short lines. It is easy to get up on and is so easy on your body because of what HO calls its clean-edge technology which eliminates much of the drag of a normal ski. Because of this it is fast and is so easy to maintain your outbound direction with a tight line. I think this ski is a real game changer.
  21. Why does it seem weird to get the same size as your wife? Your the same height and you're only 20 lbs heavier.
  22. I'm not sure where you are at but I agree strongly with @Jody_Seal who said if you are above 4000 feet get the 6.2. Here in Utah we are at about 4500 and some of the lakes I ski at are close to 6000. I have to put on a different prop to get it up to the proper rpm. Altitude makes a difference.
  23. Jenny "I don't know why we are getting into the fine details of the story but.." **Laughing my ass off!!!!**
