    HO "A3"

Crap and I just bought the A2 :)
  2. From a drivers perspective, I did not even feel @than behind the boat until he started skiing 38 and then not even so much. All the passes felt silky smooth. 38 is his new 35 and just has to trust it.
  3. @than Pull you anytime you want
  4. Now you are going to make me regret my recent A2 purchase. I will not try your ski, I will not try your ski. I figure if I say it enough I won't be tempted, but who am I kidding, let me try it monday :)
  5. @Than I told Barak this morning, it has been the years and years of razzing @Chef23 and I give him that have made him a better driver. You are just the recipient of our hard work. Great skiing!! I am with you next week as both of these boys are gone.
  6. @horton. I am not sure this is possible, but if there were it would be great to capture these paragraphs in the profiles, that way they would be more easily found.
  7. Sport tube as travel bag New this year :66.5 A2 2011 Strada front, HO RTP Eagle Vest Masterline k-palms ML custom 13' straight handle quicksilver boardies oneill heater top new this year : Neil Pryde drysuit (for the fall)
  8. Anybody know where to find them? I checked proskicoach with no luck. It is a 64" and not sure of year, We put Connolly Stoker front and rtp in back.
  9. Not sure how to answer. My tournament average is up by a buoy(1 tournament last year, 4 this year), however, I was running more 32's out of the boat last year in practice. Then again, I did set a PB on my new A2 first set out this year.
  10. I created a simple Google docs form that I use to track sets, actually I think it was inspired from something Horton posted. It could easily be upgraded to track more items. The form saves all the information into a spreadsheet and can be accessed on a webpage from any browser. I loaded the template, so anyone could just create a new doc from this template in Google docs. The templates name is SKI 2012.
  11. Same thing happened to me on my birthday, first set of the morning was crap, and on top of that Chef ran his practice PB. I did ski later that night and redeemed myself with a good set. So you can also within a day go from crap to good, or good to crap. You just have to take this sport day to day.
  12. @than Is that just like the "new" rule where the boat judge overrules the towers on the exit gate? :)
  13. Right now I would settle for attaining my practice pb 3@35 anywhere, but I still think I can clear that pass someday, and hopefully before I am 50, so that gives me 1 year.
  14. When we go to Coble's Ski School it is three sets a day for 4 days and that seems about right if you are in shape and spacing the sets out. Although you are dead tired for a day or two after.
  15. if you can, make yourself a stand up desk. I have using 1 for the last year and a half and it really helps with back stiffness. It takes a little while to get used to and your legs will be tired when you first start, but well worth it.
  16. Guys, do you have any pictures of your "hook" contraption. We normally leave a couple of buoys on both ends of our course on a public lake for the winter. This year they mysteriously disappeared, so we are either diving or dragging for the course. Thanks
  17. @skibug Try out Google forms, they are real easy to create and you can email it to yourself and then fill it in on a mobile phone. No more typing and the data goes right into a spreadsheet.
  18. Free skied twice so far, first day was nice. Second day was miserable. Probably not good enough for a couple more weeks here in the Boston area.
  19. I am sure if Chef23 isn't around he will let me know, and I can give you a pull.
  20. @Texas6, Same here. They almost always look easier on paper, but sometimes you do know what you are in for. But it is all worth it. I just had my first ski of the year, and other than the parts of me that were already sore from her workout, I feel great! I guess the true test will be tomorrow and Sunday.
