  1. I just returned from two days of skiing up in the Flathead. Public waters, but very tricky access, so it really feels like your own private cove. And gorgeous! Met @Deano‌ski only to find I knew him 30 years ago when we were in the same snow ski program - very cool reminiscing but my pumpkin ain't no steel trap. I had forgotten lots of names. After one pass Deano gave me a little tip that changed my skiing immediately and dramatically. Thanks Deano! It was great meeting you - again! And I'm stoked to do the Mission Ridge/Tate Lake Day in the spring. So my Montana season is now over. All that remains is a week in Kauaii at the end of the month. Drag.
  2. Thanks @SkiJay‌ ! I've been bolting my Sequence plate down to my Mapple 6.0 using washers and the rear horseshoe. I don't use the special "floating" washers, so I always wondered if I was compromising the performance design. I met @eddie_robberts_jr at a Broho tournament and asked him to take a look at my setup and he said it should work just fine, but I still have the two single plates that the Stradas came with, so I may switch them out. Unfortunately the only skiing remaining in my season is a week on Kauaii at the end of the month, and I'm planning on switching to my GatorMod Fogmans next season. I'll certainly remember this if the Fogmans don't work out. As a sidebar - someone on this forum flex tested skis with dual locked binders vs plate binders and found the dual lock to be stiffer. I don't know the parameters of the flex test, but he's a well respected Mega Baller.
  3. Pulled the course yesterday. Heading up to Kalispell next weekend and then to Kauaii at the end of the month. Then it's six months of miserably cold weather. I'll rediscover my love for snow skiing as soon as the mountain opens, but I am ready to move south and vacation in snow country.
  4. I've had a few passes that recorded in portrait mode mysteriously - sandwiched between passes in the same set that recorded properly in landscape mode. Today I am having difficulty pulling up yesterday's sets at all. I've powered my iphone down several times now and still no change in the Wakeye app. But I've been very pleased with the app and it's performance and can overlook the occasional glitch.
  5. Gotta' love Kris LaPoint's beard, the ISki sunglasses, and the Mastercraft Stars & Stripes!
  6. I'm currently using the US Gear handle with an In-Tow rope. I may be on a Masterline rope next season. I'm curious how the new Masterline radius handle feels. I'll probably find out in a couple of years!
  7. If you have aquatic life that you would like to protect, be careful not to allow any pesticide to drift into the water. Especially if it has a residual affect (Termidor SC). Using a Windex- type spray bottle will allow you to focus your spray exactly where you want it. Wear nitrile gloves, long sleeves and pants, eye protection, a hat, and even a respirator if you have one. That's pro style!
  8. Ahhh! Cole = @Colebrah ! Got it! I need to do more yoga before I can ski like that. My body typically bends in all the wrong directions.
  9. That Cole dude skis a lot like K.C. Wilson. Lots of COM involved. It looks flippin' awesome! Love my Wakeye by the way!
  10. A little Google Earth investigation reveals Catalina Ski Lake five miles north of Boca Chica, Dominican Republic. Looks like paradise!
  11. Great video! That lake needs to be included in the Google Earth File! Which Island is it on?
  12. @onamission‌ take heart! Much of the depression you are experiencing is a side affect of the drugs you have been on for the past several months. I know that doesn't alleviate the symptoms, but sometimes understanding the source helps you cope better. You'll have your old brain back soon. In the meantime cut yourself plenty of slack!
  13. Spectacle Lake looks awesome! And there's a course?! They could be the new Crescent Bar.
  14. That sounds awesome @Skoot1123 ! I like having plenty of water room around the turn islands. When I watch beginners or kids spinning a tight sqeeze around an island, my hands tend to sweat. The Broho is roughly 2000' long and it skis perfectly. I look forward to viewing your lake on Google Earth!
  15. Everyone else is a proletariat and Baby I'm the bourgeoisie!
  16. Ball of Spray - Disturbing the peace since the crack of dawn
  17. Our Wakeye had a few loose screws after the first day of use. After tightening them once they've remained tight.
  18. That's awesome @Skoot1123 ! What are the dimensions of the lake? How deep? Any turn islands?
  19. Parish is the outright #2 skier - if practice counted. I believe Nate's performances are going to pull everyone up with him sooner or later. Freddie Winter and KC Wilson are certainly going to have the time to develop along with him.
  20. Even with only one round a slalom a day, The Last Blast is worth the nine hour drive! And the t-shirts rock!
  21. I watched David Miller scotchbrite his ski at The Broho this past summer - a week before the Big Dawg finals.
  22. How'd everyone here do? I finished tied for 21st. I picked a couple of underdogs early on that didn't materialize. Curse you Rich Storelee! But I had the finals picked dead on.
  23. If only it would affect the snow the snow that flew here today!
