  1. your right switch time out will not effect why your switch circuit is not working. but question was what is this setting. and yes leave it at 1.8. have you unplugged the switch and direct jumpered the connector to see if it is a switch problem or a extension wire problem. is the switch wire plugged in to the zo harness correctly? did you ohm out the extension wires? did you ohm out the switch?

  4. In a nut shell rope switch time out is how long the micro switch is recognized and and the system applies throttle. that one set at 1.8 seconds..
  5. actually there is a big difference between a snob and a sn. engine is 4-6 " ( I forget) farther back in a snob then a sn. this requires a steeper shaft angle. wakes at slower speeds are far more pronounced and cleaner then a sn. snob at slalom speeds are great but not as good as sn at real short lines, drop off at 35,38 are rough behind the snob. playpen area in the snob is useless except some place for ski gear.
  6. yes the mating surfaces need to be clean and paint free.
  7. you will need to set it with a computer.

  9. team seal staying north of hwy 98 this year. Good luck to all the skiers participating at this year US Nationals..
  10. take the wing off. up your physical conditioning as it takes far more strength to make up for the increased drag of skiing slower. droping down from a speed that skiers have skied for 30 years can be tough. the dreded 22 off bump is now at 28 off, wakes incresse in overall size as the boat displaces more water going slower. skis really dont work as well below 34mph . the "experts" say get a bigger ski to ski slower, i say no to that as nothing like trying to fly that bigger board through the bigger wakes at slower speeds then have to try and turn it. older divisions I think would be able to tolerate a slower speed if the speed was not dropped 3kmh or roughly 2mph. with today's rules and speed control it may be time to take a look at speed rules in the sport. maybe drop 2 kph rather then 2 mph. may seem like a small change to mess with but as one of those that are struggling with the speed drop, rather then skiing at 52 kph change the rule to 53 is almost exactly 33 mph and it to me skis closer where the ski and wakes work together without the drag.
  11. when your off shore in an inboard.. however this bag has been around the world many times in my previous life..

  13. John dedicated most of his adult life to competitive water-skiing. many drivers and officials owe parts of their success to John, my self included. long time friend, mentor as well as correct Craft / Nautique promo team member. his presence will be missed in the sport. the loss of John in the sport will be a void that can not be filled. prayers of condolence and peace to the Goodman family.
  14. what model 6 liter ? cat or non cat? if it is a cat engine there are 1/8" ? vent plugs on the very top of the exhaust manifolds to bleed off air out of the coolant system. non cat is a bit more time consuming and requires elevating bow of boat and run on hose a couple heat cycles squeezing hoses and allowing air to rise up through the reservoir.
  15. if you took a ride on Kimball fiberglass skis?.
