  1. , yep. She ran that 39. In pic 3, she is on her right edge (see the spray), after being in the middle on pic 2. In the video, you can clearly see the (not at all standard…) s-turn she did. The thing is, judging intentions, like trying to turn, trying to get to the next buoy, or “at most” flat, in a specific edge is a tricky road to travel. What about JT style body slides then? Should be banned also?
  2. So you can then S-turn at longer lines?Look at Regina at ball 3 in these images, She is well inside the 1/4 buoy line, and clearly in the right edge in the third pic, after being in the left edge at the bouy. 1/2 bouy for her?
  3. , the issue is how you define “an actual turn on the turning edge”. There is no such a definition in the rulebook.
  4. So if someone “zigs” outside the buoy without “zagging”, he might get one buoy? Do you define zig-zagging using a certain angle of the ski to one side and the other? Personally, I do not see a rule change like this happening.Maybe, if many want to change the rule for a reason, they could make it more difficult by using the farthest buoy guide as reference.
  5. That is far more than a mark in my book. Please make sure to have video from the boat and ask whoever is recording to post it here if you can’t…
  6. @gsm_peter , the answer is that you need to repeat.
  7. Just complementing what @MISkier said, the same “unfair conditions” as mentioned by @swbca is what is applied for a driver error.
  8. Not wanting a binding to release ever applies to world class trickers that are doing flip sequences and other “high energy” tricks, and rather take the risk than getting released. Most of them have a rope releaser that also would have the rope for the hand pass, ready to let go in any tangle. Many good level and world class trickers use releasable hardshells.
  9. @SlalomSteve , Seriously, the number of hours we as a society waste on a daily basis doing meaningless things, spending 1-2 hours over an entire year for something that is at worst meaningless, at best helpful, doesn't even register on the scale Best sentence I have read in a long time.
  10. This sounds interesting. So where and how should you do it?
  11. I started all my daughters with A1. You will not me able to use trick mode in the tournament, so you would have to live with slalom mode.
  12. Thanks @swbca , very proud of the skier (my older daughter).
  13. @ToddL , I have seen some of that but not a lot. A good approach I have seen is talking about it, on a quiet, non public and non judgemental way, and have them performing judging tasks less prone to error, like calling gates, or reviewing buoy times and calling buoy totals.

How do you count or locate Pandas?
  15. @klindy, Agustina Varas, U17 AND U21 Jump World Champion and Junion Masters champion last year.
  16. I am prerty sure that 1660 for Duplan-Fribourg was as scoring mistake. Does not look like his routine…
  17. They do not reproduce in still water. We got them and they were less than 10 cm long. They grew huge in a very short timeframe.
  18. @luzz , same here. We did, though buy less than 5 kg, and they became around the weight you mention in a couple of years…
  19. @horton, I assume that is a toe pass trick?
  20. Looks like we have a good generation of women skiers in Chile…
  21. Tricks, Not a bad score for Tincho, qualifying for both Juniors and Open
  22. There is and will (almost for sure) be a market for waterski boats. If one of the big manufacturers decides not to make them anymore, the rest will pick up. Barriers to entry are fairly low also.
