    When I skied with 6balls up at the swamp it was the first time I had heard "hit reverse real quick before pulling me up to clear the prop of weeds" if I had driven to far down course. Still was a great place to ski. Didn't get the shorty advice though.

    From the vid it appears your stargazer needs dialing in. Look at my thread about wonky stargazer. Getting gased at the 2 ball is not helping your confidence on the off side turns. Agree with Marco's assessment. about coming up early. That's exactly what first hit me when I watched the vids.

    Anytime @richarddoane invites you to the Broho take him up on it. He and @officerfriendly love to have an excuse to play on a weekday. A few years back I had the chance to ski with them and the Broho is the place. Thanks again Richard for allowing a newbie the chance to ski there.

    @AMESY Starting out under the A56 and heading up river into the huge buoys. Doesn't look like a lot of room to the banks. Lean lock and it looks like your eating bank veggies. Going upstream and stopping before the Frodsham Weir on the river Weaver. Great name for a river to have a slalom course in. Second vid looks like you get a really good run up to the course from the other end. Hopefully the rib pummel didn't hurt to bad. Looks like in 2010 there was a 4 bouy course installed there with entrance gates to the East. Keep the vids coming nice to see the ol country.

    @storm34 , You are welcome. It was very frustrating to have these issues and I wanted everyone to at least understand what i had to do to "fix" my situation. Good luck at Regionals and Nationals.

    @303Skier , We have seen exactly the same issue with the black covers down here in Pueblo on some of the Malibu's. They all disappear without any work when exposed to the sun here in Colorado. Doesn't seem to take very long either 1+ hours. It doesn't seem to matter the age of the cover either.

    @live2ski, here is a thread I started in 2012 about this type of problem. Ignore the FAE references since it was a red herring and read down to the chart tables that I had to adjust. This cured all of the assymetry times and speeds for all the bouys in the course for me. http://forum.ballofspray.com/discussion/6589/is-your-stargazer-going-wonky-technical-term hope it helps.

    @Horton thanks I was looking at the swiss rentals and thought of their particular unit. It wasn't showing up. Not trying to understand the ad buying particulars.

    @Horton Call me stupid or give me a panda but I am unable to ascertain the Austin dates for the Friday Saturday Sunday. Just trying to find out when there will be a beer rush in Austin.

    Thanks for the heads up for Ty. I found the web site so once I figure travel plans I can try to set some time up. Also have another contact for possible ski time. This is the reason I thank @Horton for putting together such a great web site. Maybe when I am out in California again I can make good on my Alvin burritos and good quality IPA obligations.

    I have to be in Kalamazoo several times this summer. Anybody know of any skiing around there. apologies if this is a repeat post. I started one yesterday as well but it seems to have disappeared. Maybe I am banned!!!

    First time to i have been able to get to the lake yesterday. This is the latest for at least the last 5 years. Others have been skiing but conditions not really that great for serious fun.
