  1. Looks like it closed 10 hours ago. I guess that was sometime today.
  2. Skied a short set yesterday. Air 47 degrees (F) and water 34 degrees (F). 2.0 Camaro full with neoprene beanie and neoprene gloves. In general I was warm enough but my gloves had some leaks and a few fingers started to hurt. Only did 4 passes mostly due to not skiing for a few weeks and trying to hard versus the cold. according to Matts Baller index write up the number comes to -31.67. I was unable to find the baller index calculator on the right hand side. OK my bad it only appears when you are on the discussions page not while you are actually in a discussion.

  4. I think it's @MS 's friend from Korea. >:)
  5. @jimski I have skied with @pq2 in the lagoon a couple of times and it was great since the water here was solid. He has access to 3 slalom courses on the lagoon and conditions were great at at least one each time. So when I go to Cancun I try to get a hold of @pq2 to set up some skiing. He is a great guy and there is a thread here on BOS about skiing in Cancun with pictures.
  6. @Horton Looked at some more sites about this and it would appear that it is the static portion of this that is the issue. The cable machine set up I try to use is obviously not static and more of the pulley and a bucket type of exercise. So I think I am good on this . No need to respond.
  7. @Horton Not being funny here for once. Why do you think this device is a waste of time? If the water is solid and land based is all you have what would you suggest is a better emulation method? I try to use cable machines to develop better stacked conditioning in the off season and am wondering if I am off track doing that.
  8. @skihard Yes I do and very glad to have been a guest. Hopefully one day I can return the hospitality.
  9. @skihard be careful you may have some Northern Coloradan ballers appear at your lake.
  10. I have a tube of this in the freezer. Thaw it out when I need a repair and back in till the next time.
  11. @swardco Trying to get to Dec down in Pueblo. As you know the first cold weather is getting here this week so we will see how quickly the water temp drops. Always welcome to get a set or 2 in down here.
  12. Heading into the course Sunday and a Heron decides it's time to fly across the course just in front of the entrance gates heading from right to left. All I could think as pulling out was Fabio on a roller coster "I don't believe it tastes like chicken". Also everyone in the boat was watching the Heron. Thank goodness birds can fly.
  13. Sunday Water was 57 air was 70. Hoping to make it into December but the cold is coming this week.
  14. Camaro 2.0 black tec full suit, Neoprene beanie, Radar boots, Chatoes duck hunting neoprene gloves, lake 40 air 51. I set, 6 passes. Had to stop because face was cold. Till I tried it I to wouldn't have believed it either. Each to his own and I think it's safe to say those that have tried Camaro are converts.
  15. @rockdog Exactly the point. :) :)
  16. @ncskier @waterskigirl at Robbis is where to get them. Once in a Camaro no desire to try anything else. You will be hard pressed to find anybody on BOS who has tried a camaro from Robbies and has changed to another brand of wet suit afterwards.
  17. Now I feel like that Korean guy that was banned. There is only a small window to give the exact answer and if you miss it your out of the club.
  18. @6balls Get this behind you and start getting ready for next year. Lots of luck with the surgery and recovery. Good wish's on slaying the purple beast also, should be easier with the back fixed.
  19. @Marco I think my body is telling me the same thing but winter is almost here and I don't listen well anyway. I like you like the HC-1 so that I don't have to spend time under the boat.
  20. @Marco If you get on this side of the divide we are still skiing in Pueblo, shorts and heater tops.
  21. The infinity at our lake has side wings (an option) that cleaned up the 22 and out wake. From the people that ski those lengths at slower speeds it is considered the cheater boat because there is no wake to speak of. The hole shot is really sweet also. Never an issue of getting up just more an issue of being ready for it.
  22. Everyone needs to understand that these are not your standard wetsuit. They are remarkably warm but very fragile. Even being very careful I still have to seam seal were my short fingernails cause minor surface tears. Still never going back to my drysuit (that leaks) as the Camaro is warmer. Also have to agree with the comment that not all camaros are equal. A guy at our lake got one of the "cheaper" thicker Camaro and it was much more like a normal wetsuit. It was more restrictive and was not as warm, sent it back and got one of @waterskigirl style. I have to thank @Chuck_Dickey for introducing these to me and @Horton for supporting it with a real world review. Never would have purchased since it hard to understand the effectiveness of these suits until you try one.
