  1. As @Marco used my 2 mm into low 40 water. Had to use duck hunting neoprene gloves and a neoprene beanie because they were the parts that were getting cold. I have RADAR boots and hence do not feel the cold on my feet to much. I have found that after the set getting out of the Camaro and putting on dry clothes is the key to not getting to cold between sets. Also using dry suit leg straps to keep water from going up the legs is essential.
  2. my trailer is black. have not seen any trailer paint issues.
  3. How about a good IPA or that spice rum that Horton likes?
  4. Sorry to hear that. No cool names come to mind but there are plenty of great female skiers at the moment.
  5. I also had a chance to ski with @skihard at their little piece of heaven. Can't say I skied really well but it wasn't because of the settings. I wish I could find other excuses to get down that way as it was a great place to ski. The turn and burn or drop and rest feature of the lake set-ups was really interesting.
  6. @ShaneH, I believe that you have the new non-acceptable formula. It also appears that prior to that there was a natural reduction in the evolution of off-spring of male boat owners that did in fact try to enforce this rule. Either that or the wife unit was shown to have preference for other males of the species and hence the male boat owner was reduced to a boat-less male loner begging for ski rides.
  7. I did not and the stuff basically sticks to the hull. The consistency is similar to heated maple syrup.
  8. Looks like there are some tire bargains in the background :) :) >:)
  9. BTW I used very little of the product to do this, maybe 1/4 of a pint. I also believe that I could have used a whole lot less if I were to use a cloth and spread it around rather than relying on my spraying ability. Once thing I did notice was a little chalk like residue that rinsed off with the water. So process was spray HC-1, spread about to areas were I didn't spray well wait 2 minutes, rinse with water from another spray bottle spray wax and dry then wipe dry to finish. Also in the pictures you can see that the very bottom of the hull is still discolored. This is because I was to tired to climb underneath to get that. Next time I will hit that area better.
  10. No scrubbing just spreading to were I didn't spray well.
  11. That was after a week in the water. Stuff worked really well at getting the scum off as you can see. For my application I had to spread it around since I am not so good at spraying upside down. Were it landed it cleaned up the green. I used a spray bottle with water to rinse and then wax and dry afterwards. On some of the more ingrained stuff underneath it did start cleaning. I was not up for getting under the boat though and attacking that.
  12. @Horton, sounds like the lotto. That hasn't worked out so well for me so far. I am still working everyday.
  13. @Horton Can you confirm those of us that have ordered one?
  14. @mylemsky Is you statement a comment, observation or a question? I don't quite understand, Sorry for being so dense.
  15. @Stoner, @MS 's place is well worth the drive to Pine Island.
  16. Of course this all depends on my ability to complete a pass anytime soon.
  17. Here is what I plan on doing. (boat clean going in). HC-1 in spray bottle spray lower hull once on trailer. Let it sit while using vinegar and water to clean the rest of the fiberglass. Come back and spray lower hull with water from a spray bottle to rinse of HC-1. Use wax and shine to finish everything off. Anything wrong with this approach?
  18. The boat will have been in all week and will post pics before and after so people can see the results. Does this stuff hurt chrome?
  19. The noise reduction is fantastic. People say my boat is louder coming towards them than going away when I have the Fresh Air attached.
  20. I have a hammerhead in the boat and there was certainly less hole shot. Not an issue just an observation. Short end set up was just a little later to settle.
  21. I installed one on my 2007 lxi. The Hole shot was significantly reduced. That may have been due to the altitude here though. The wake was not effected as far as I could tell. Great for all around noise reduction and fume reduction when surfing though.
  22. @Chef23 thanks I will enjoy the viewing.
  23. Is there an archive to view for those of us that couldn't watch at the weekend?
