  1. @MattP the reason I pointed out who I bought it from is because I feel it is a shared responsibility however H20 pro shop has sent me several emails checking to see if I had received the product and from what I have been told has put in several inquiries about my order to Wakeye. Yes I understand they are from NZ and importing can be an issue at the moment. I feel 4 months is a reasonable amount of time to fulfill the order. Tracking information would suggest the label was created but never given to the shipper. Doubt it's an import issue.
  2. Just wanted to pass an experience on to ballers. Ordered a wakeye on May 23rd from H20 pro shop. I got a tracking number a few days later to use in the shop app. It never gave any details. After about a month and nothing showing up I emailed them and spoke to Austin. He assured me that things were just delayed due to covid and that they had none in stock either. Make a long story short I just emailed him and canceled the order. Wakeye may be the best product for video of your sets but it does me no good if I never get it. I felt almost 4 months of having paid for a product and not even getting an expected delivery date is bad business. As soon as my money is returned I will be ordering a skidoc.
  3. @Stevie Boy I only have a few sets on a 21 but have been on a vapor for 18,19 and 20. The difference between the 20 and 21 is not massive I would say a 10% difference. The difference is small but possibly significant. We as humans don't perceive speed well. It is either feeling acceleration or deceleration or the other way people judge speed is with landmarks. For us slalom skiers it is the bouys how much space do I have.... So to answer your question I feel that the ski takes a little more angle out of the bouy resulting in an earlier line into the next. This is accomplished by the clean water tail. I would actually say that I get more feel from the ski than last year. My first impression on the ski was wow I don't need to feel the boat as much because this thing feels stable under my feet.
  4. I always joke that Nautique would be better to have cameras in the bow instead of the transom maybe then a surf boat could see in front of them. In all honesty the death of our sport I feel will be related to the surf crowd either because of danger or erosion problems. Know of many lakes that are putting length restrictions in place and fear it's only a matter of time before they say no motorized crafts.
  5. Just curious if anyone else ordered T shirts at Nationals and if you received them. Has been almost a month now.
  6. @liquid d I feel that stretch probly more than most at 6 foot 2 220. Considering one skier in my division didn't tell the boat driver he was ready and the boat took off with the skier yelling "I guess we are going now!" The rope choice seems trivial.
  7. @skifan. I believe what @oldjeep is meaning is that at best the subfloor under the carpet is raw fiberglass. It isn't the nice gel coat finish like the newer boats. Have heard but cannot confirm that some boats the carpet is glued right to the closed cell foam they filled the void between the stringer and hull side with. You might be in for a lot of finishing work to make it look right and be somewhat level
  8. I got the Malibu this year. Haven't had a promo Malibu in my area since 2016. Newest Malibu I could get behind was a 2013 that is two Hulls ago from current. I should get my choice in boat... (Sarcastic tone)
  9. @Horton method to my madness. If you were at Nationals you wouldn't have to look at a terrible photo you could hold that baby in your hands....
  10. He is on a Radar (like me) and a blue steel jacket (like me) I think the video clearly shows he got around that bouy and probly the next 12 or so. ?
  11. Had a 2018 200 with significant amount of spray between platform and hull. Took about ten minutes to tighten everything up a hair on the hydrogate and all is right in the world again.
  12. @elrob I should have the one you need. Pulled it off my 02 196 with the pcm 330 when I converted to ZO. Let me know we can make sure it's what you need
  13. Listened to it several times and it still sounds like he says 32. Maybe it's just my phone. The engine sounds like 36 and I timed a couple passes and it's definitely faster than 32.
  14. No offense to anyone but it takes a little away from that video when you listen to the audio and the cameraman tells you it's -38 at 32mph.... Still great skiing but a young guy at 32???
  15. I snapped 4 T1's the exact same way. Amazing skis until.... One made it a whole ten days .
  16. @elrob my money would be on a crankshaft position sensor. If the ECM doesn't see a signal it won't fire the injectors. If you want to do some diag. Before buying the sensor to confirm the Injectors are not firing with a noid light. Pretty sure oreilly and other parts stores have them in the rent a tool
  17. I can tell you the wakeye is far superior to the orbit but the price tag reflects that. Still waiting on my wakeye I ordered 8 weeks ago too..... Go skidoc
  18. Same as @Andre. 4 foot capped piece zip tied to the middle.
  19. @lakeho26 small half gallon sprayer from home improvement store. Remove the spray tip and insert a ball needle. Some will require you to silicone or JB weld it in to seal. Fill with water and pump to pressurize.
  20. To each there own but I completely disagree with Zman. While the mass is higher the bouyance is lower. It takes far less energy to submerge the bouy and ski over the top. Have been using water filled bouys on our course and several other around the area for years and have yet to get a report of injury from hitting a bouy. I can say hanging weight causes the PVC to bend and the bouys to be out of tolerance. Also remember if you hang weight on the turn bouy you really should also weight the boat guides to try and keep it as level as possible. Just my $.02
  21. Can't be true. Canadian border is still closed
