  1. When we were setting up boat lifts the bunk spacing was nearly Identical between my 196 trailer and his 200 trailer. Haven't seen too many 200 that actually fit the trailer they sit on. The trailer always looks like an after thought
  2. Since you are in Seattle.... I would start by talking to these guys.... Clean slate to start from and a proven hull. Design the interior how you want .... https://www.ballofspray.com/forum#/discussion/20028/stolen-boat-from-the-hilltop-lake-arlington-wa-just-north-of-seattle/p1
  3. I hear this iwwf license got postponed to Sept. Of this year.
  4. I feel like I have a strong opinion of wakeboard boats that would stir this pot far more than any of these topics
  5. From experience the 6.2 is far more fuel efficient than the 6.0.
  6. I sincerely hope that the athletes and sponsors are not discouraged and continue to support the European tour. At the end of the day the goal is to have world class athletes perform their skill in front of a crowd. It does pain me to think that people are trying to influence scores. I can understand setting up a site to the best that it can be. To me the best it can be should be as close to perfect in all aspects... Course survey and boat path. Can't imagine having a -41 pulled. That has to suck. Only consolation was it wasn't a world record. ?
  7. Love my 02 wish I could get this green on a new boat....
  8. @mlange I use a hole saw. If I remember correctly I think a one inch... Just make sure it goes over the connector and drill it. I then went to Ace and matched up the old grommet and found a solid rubber plug.
  9. Get some collinite cleaner and wax. If you scrub really hard with the cleaner it will pull the oxidation. Evidence is the gel color on a white rag. Did the whole back of this boat a year or so ago. Didn't get picks of before and after on the boat but did for the platform.
  10. @SlalomSteve I think the most traditional way of progressing is to not move on until you can run the pass back to back. If 32 mph still feels unattainable I would shoot for something more in the middle. Bump up to 30.5 or 31. I know some people who like to take 0.2 mph steps. I have used what I call the stairs method in early season. So for me it looks like -28, -32, -35, -35, -32, and -28. Builds consistency. I wouldn't be afraid to try and drop back and do 28 30 30 32 30 28. One thing that I think is somewhat overlooked but very important is to always end on a clean complete pass. We are building muscle memory and the last thing you want to do is learn bad habits. Even if it means the last pass is 28 run the last one early and wide.
  11. Thanks @Sethro I believe you are correct. Zoomed in on one of the photos and the hull number would indicate a 93.
  12. Has a ton of options but not sure what works and doesn't. Has a heater some form of Malibu cruise and a cassette player. Air temp water temp and depth gauge. Appears to have a built in stopwatch for timing.
  13. Listing for a friend. He bought this Malibu in 94 from a local club. In 2016 it overheated causing the motor to seize. He then parked it in his garage. I don't think he drained the water for the winter. When he brought it to me and I pulled plugs water ran out of the cylinders. So that's the bad. The good is it's a pretty clean boat with only minor blemishes to the hull and interior. Has 304 hours. If anyone is looking for a winter project it might make a decent starter boat. He wants $4000 which is a little high to me considering all the unknowns. As winter progresses I am sure that number will come down.
  14. @Horton buy polyform from skier to skier. About $7.50 a bouy do all of them even boat guides. About $180 total
  15. @So_I_Ski I have only done a quick scan of this thread but if you are running an electric pump with a carb they usually run a Murphy switch. It is an oil pressure switch back by the distributor. The idea is that you do not want your fuel pump to run while the engine is not but the key is on. It would over run the floats in the carb and flood the engine. I have seen the Murphy switch fail a couple of times on a buddies 04 Moomba. Does pretty much what you are describing.
  16. @mwfillmore have diacom software? Will it connect? Linc system or analog with a zoo head unit?
  17. @mwfillmore that code is for the can bus signal. The line ZO head unit and ECM talk to each other on. Check the 8 wire plug at the rear of your engine. I have seen a few pin wiring issues at the ecm connecter itself. I would disconnect the battery and unplug then plug them back in. See if it solves your issue. While you have them off make sure nine of the terminals are bent or pushed back in the connecter.
  18. @LeonL my original had a square oring and the new cups all come with a round oring. I am not 100% of the difference or why but I ordered two cups and both cracked within a month. Got frustrated ordered the whole thing and problem solved for the last three years.
  19. @ScarletArrow my advice from learning the hard way. When you go to fix this order the whole strainer not just the cup. Kept cracking them on my 02 196 finally got smart spent $10 more and got the whole thing
  20. Have a buddy with a 99 prostar 190. Around 474 hours. He did t take great care of it but it would make someone a nice boat at a cheap price. PM if Interested. In CO
  21. @Skoot1123 I have a 196 and also have the ptm edge 140. I mounted right in the middle. I really like it there. You could mount it straight above the driver if you wanted to. In a 196 you sit pretty low and the bracket is pretty tall. On a few of the newer 200 if you mount it in front of the driver all I see is my big head in the way. Go with the ptm edge mirror and bracket. You won't regret it. It is one of those things you take for granted when you have it. Then you drive someone else boat and realize how great it is.
