  1. My boat is an 02 196 with ZO. Ski partner had a 14 200 that I set my PB behind in 2016. He sold that boat and got a 17 200. I skied the 14 with it's new owner this summer and upped my PB by half a ball and tied the old PB a few times. I o ly skied with her 3 times this summer. Different lake different driver same boat..... Love that 14. That 14 was @skiinxs boat....
  2. @sunvalleylaw pretty sure those are jump speeds not slalom
  3. @brooks @Chris Rossi can you guys explain what NFC enabled is?
  4. @ms @markchilcutt thanks guys! Nice to do it in front of a hometown crowd. It's was great skiing with you guys. Hopefully we can do it again sometime.
  5. Off the link above.... Question: Can I do this at Regionals and Nationals? Answer: You can shorten the line before you get to max speeds but you cannot ski above division max and receive credit for it. This is why I was against ZBS just for the record. Too much confusion...
  6. @markchilcutt take a look at this. https://www.usawaterski.org/pages/divisions/3event/ZBSCheatSheet.htm Says any CEL tournament so I guess it depends on how you register because you can't in an R?
  7. I don't believe that is correct anymore. I believe last year ZBS was for all divisions. So I believe 3@-22@32 is the same as 3@-15@34.
  8. @CPwaterski your best bet is probly Tommy's they are located at I70 and Ward road. I know they do some demo stuff. I think it is mostly high end skis. Might also try and contact @bwreinke he might have an HO to try. If you are skiing up at Boyd. The new Scheels out on 34 and I25 has a decent selection of ski stuff and Rocky mountain rentals on 34 close to downtown Loveland has some stuff as well. Don't think either will do any Demo but worth a stop and look.
  9. Thanks @markchilcutt I hope you guys can make it back here sometime and we will ski a bunch more.
  10. Hey Mark. I usually look at what groups are ahead of me and figure six minutes a skier. If you go to awsa website and then click on register in the pop down menu it has check registration status and then find the tournament. Then under the top left tab you can select scheduling and it will tell you how long per division. I think the default setting is 6 minutes for slalom. Shows trick and jump as well.
  11. Losing Soda is only a rumor at this point. As @Deke pointed out the paddle board company does currently have the lease to the larger lake behind them. As far as I know they will now have the use of both lakes. So there is a chance that they will keep the ski school going and just Integrate it into the paddle boarding on the larger lake.
  12. @MS it was great to meet you and you skied great! Next time I will dig out the old Monza for you. I don't care what @Horton says about you. You are a nice guy.
  13. @Horton only lakes I know of are upper and lower Bergen. Water in Colorado is very complicated as most of our lakes are irrigation reservoirs. What I was told was shore errosion had become an issue on the damns. The ditch company spent almost two million in rebuilding the damn. After that they said no motorized boats allowed after this year. I really blame the large wakeboard and surf boats but that could be just my bias. The other is Soda lake might possible be going away. It's lease was up for bid and awarded to a paddle board company speculation is that the ski school will go away in favor of paddle boarding.
  14. @TFIN that's what she said is the funniest thing I have heard in a long time. Classic Office quote.
  15. I have run into this problem on a few skis with my giant size 12 reflex. Easiest solution for me was to go to a monoplate and forget those screws.
  16. @DaveD. https://worldwaterskiers.com/results/ .try that .
  17. @dw reminds me of the definition of true love. Lock your dog and your girlfriend in the trunk of your car for an hour and see which one is still excited to see you. Funny on the drive to TX on Wednesday I kept taking my slalom rope from my puppy so he wouldn't chew on it.
  18. Fuel consumption is noticeably more with the ZR4 over either the H5 or H6.
  19. Is 3000kw enough? I run a 6500kw generator and it doesn't really like my boat lift. A buddy has a floating hydraulic boat lift that is all solar. Not sure what the panels output is but I know the battery has to be taken out once a month or so and recharged. That is with maybe a half dozen cycles every weekend. I have also not seen the extended life of a deep cycle battery out way the extra cost of one. If building a battery bank I would go buy a group 31 battery from your local semi truck parts place. Usually can get a 1000 cca battery for $80 and they have a 3/8 stud for terminals. Makes wiring easy.
  20. I get a commercial and then about 15 seconds of the event and it freezes. It did finally get better for the last three men's slalom skiers.
  21. Anyone know if it would help with bicep/elbow tendonitis. I have a ski buddy still doing dry needling and stuff to get his elbows pain free from last season. Worried he won't ski this season unless we figure out a solution.
  22. We have a similar problem with people mudding at our lake. Lucking they generally keep it on shore. Have seen a couple in the lake itself. Always makes me mad. The guys in the story state they thought it was a frozen field. So trespassing and tearing out a farmers crop which is how he makes a living is so much better than being stuck in a lake.... I hope it is a big tow bill and the owner presses charges.
  23. Shoreline markers can work. Try to find a something that sticks out visually and adjust you gate off of it. I skied a lake one time that had power lines at one end. When two poles crossed each other in my visual I knew to pull out. Only worked going one way....
  24. @dbutcher it might be a bit more forward for that reason not really sure to be honest. I know the carpet in lay from the old boat wouldnt fit around the new motor box. About 4 inches bigger in diameter. Not sure how much taller but looks to be about 6 inches.
