  1. Wow. Someone needs to let this guy in on the joke that when you are "checking the prop" you are actually peeing and not actually checking the prop.
  2. AWW COME ON! I don't care what fin it is. Get it off the vinyl.
  3. Not sure if this helps or not, but I really find Joel's videos for Connelly very helpful. He talks though each aspect of the ski and the purpose for the design. Conversely, although I ski Radar products, I find Radar's product videos useless. They are music videos with water skiers and literally say nothing about the product. The reason I bought Radar in the first place was because of the videos Rini and Rossi put out explaining the difference between the Strada and Senate. Unfortunately, Radar went away from that. Aside from the product specs, I think linking these types of informative video to be helpful when shopping online.
  4. Wailua River was really cool. No buoys but who cares. Also skied at Montego Bay. Not "great" skiing but it was really cool never the less.
  5. 1st things I would check- stuffing on the drive shaft for leak and oxidation on the distributor cap points for sputter. Could be lots of things though.
  6. That beats both my stories. Taking the kids skiing on a busier and windier Saturday afternoon. Rope drifted/blew under the platform. Wrapped it on the prop but was able to unwind while boat was in water. My buddy wrapped the jump on the prop. In an attempt to save time and wet the jump faster he did a power turn with the boat in order to spray the ramp. Oops. Wrapped one of the anchor lines on the prop. We were able to unwrap it after about 15 minutes.
  7. I use similar to what Rico posted. Works reasonably well. However if you do fall and a bit of water gets in there it is impossible to hear.
  8. As a bonus, lots of show ski teams up that way.
  9. At 0:35....I know the boat was smaller but were the gates and boat guides wider too? Gate seems really wide especially for how large the buoys were. Would that course have been prior to the conversion to the metric course? Very cool seeing the jump as part of the trick runs. Also cool to see how they timed trick runs with the red flag and the old way of measuring jump.
  10. So there was a ski-rrific and a ski-tastic? I can imagine a bunch of guys around a table in suits trying to get their new inboard boat to production. "Hey Ralph, I heard a new boat is coming to market. They are calling it 'ski--rrific'". "Larry, our boat is going to be better than terrific. It's going to be fantastic!" "What should we call it?"
  11. What the heck!?! This is the first I'm seeing of this and it is already episode 6??!?! Rini is clean shaven? I am so confused.
  12. Not sure how this scores but it is as good as I have ever seen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ap4wJjuuFpk
  13. @Sethro the boat is nice, but that setup is AWESOME!
  14. @MISkier Lucky Lowe.... before he became a Malibu guy.
  15. @Horton Ha. Space Ghost. I forgot about that show. Hilarious.
  16. I can't look this up because I'm at work, but I seem to remember Suzanne Somers and Maherajah skis.
  17. @A_B I looked at Stabil's website regarding the differences between blue marine and red regular and I am still unclear.
  18. Reminds me a bit of Chet Ripley. Let go of the rope!
  19. I love the background music. Gives it a cool 80s feel. Genesis -Tonight Tonight Tonight. Wasn't that on a Michelob commercial back in the day? Pointer Sisters- Neutron Dance. INXS. etc.
  20. This popped up on youtube this morning. Pretty cool. Many of the the women skiers here were staples on the tour in the 90's and many eventually made the hall of fame.
  21. For those who can decipher this better than I, how many points for each of these runs?
