  1. Thanks John. Really appreciate the help getting in touch with the right people at Radar.
  2. Thanks guys. It actually appears as though the carbon fiber Is coming apart from the plastic base shell and getting a few splinters coming off of it. Is that whole 1/32 on an inch top sheet just the graphic?
  3. I have a 2014 Lithium Vapor that has a small section near the tip that has separated from the base. The section is small and thin, slightly more than a fingernail thickness but it is growing with continued use. Looking for a contact at Radar for ideas on how to fix the issue and keeping it from spreading.
  4. Anyone have any info? It sounds like it got really bad down in that area.
  5. Slings seem to be in the $75-$100 range used in good shape. $1,200 would be a fair price for those.
  6. Thanks for the advise everyone. His enthusiasm has not stopped but his cautious nature has reared it's head. Another set with the skis tied together and the next one (he says) will be without the cross bar. Bishop, thanks for the idea of the Wiley's. I agree not being properly connected to the skis is a big concern. Have a set of xs jump bindings available that we will give a try.
  7. For the first time my son is really excited about skiing. He is 7 years old and has been behind the boat on 45" shaped trainers that are tied together at the tip and tail for the last 2 years. On his first set of the season yesterday he looked much more comfortable, stronger and skied for longer than he ever has before. My question is about how to help him advance. I am guessing before having him cross the wakes I need to untie the skis? I also have a set of 58" combos that are not shaped, when do I think about trasitioning him to those? Any advise for helping him progress quickly? Thanks in advance. Scott
  8. Just my $0.02, a Senate graphite @~ $700 and $800 is good coaching may be > a $1,500 Vapor at this point in your skiing career. I'm not sure what type of coaching you get now but as @bassfooter said if you are running 32 in a couple years you probably have some real potential. Good coaching will help you develop faster than a great ski (having both doesn't hurt).
  9. I for one will be very interested in this review.
  10. Mine ended ~8 weeks ago followed by a microdiscectomy 4 weeks later. There is always next year...
  11. What are you guys using as sub buoys? I need to float 30-50' of 1/2" anchor line for our jump anchors. We had been using boat fenders but it appears 2 of these have sunk.
  12. While most of our lake is deep enought the weeds are not an issue we used Navigate with great success around our docks and some shore area this year. Runs ~$200 per 50lb bag which depending on water depth can cover nearly 1/2 acre. The difference at our lake is remarkable.
  13. The single best bit of jump coaching I have ever received was from Freddie. He said try to push your knees to the tips of the skis. It may sound exaggerated but it works. Shoulders over hips, hips over ankles and knees pressed forward. Try it.
  14. Apologize for the spelling I am still coming out from under general anesthesia. Did anyone see edged in water? That was a great waterski "movie". Watch it all the time in the winter when I need some motivation to get to the gym.
  15. Wow, best of luck on a speedy recovery. I am also ending my season early with an L3 L4 herniation. Surgery Friday.
  16. Great tournament at a great spectator site. We were all cheering for KC (since he was at our lake Wed & Thu). Great to see that type of skiing up close and personal.
  17. We are having a slalom clinic at our lake in Northern Illinois (McHenry / Island Lake) on July 30th. Have a few slots open. Site is a private lake with surveyd course being pulled by a 2014 PS. Send me a private message for details.
  18. @AB‌ I could tell you some stories that would make your blood boil, unfortunately they have jurisdiction over the water and can cross private property to patrol (we disagree on their right to drive a pickup through yards and on our bike path) so we don't have much say...
  19. We are on a private ski lake in Illinois and have had the DNR stop by for a "safety" check. Probably best to just have the orange flag up at all times on private water.

I started using an Oneil Guru this year. Love it.
  21. Paracetamol and Acetominphen are basically one in the same. My guess is the poster has a Euro background
  22. If you put the mount up close to the tip of the ski you can use the camera in both directions.
  23. My 6 yo son is bound and determined to ski on 1 this year but his trainer combos do not have a rtp. Found a deal too good to pass up for a nice small set of kids combo's that I thought I would share for anyone else who is looking. I figure the slalom ski will get him through a couple seasons until he grows into a larger kids ski. http://www.wakehouse.com/products/radar-x-caliber-59-combo-water-skis.html
