  1. His social influence goes way beyond Australia so the location should in theory be less of an issue. Lets see if anyone steps up.. I don't think its a good look for the world champ to be training behind a 2010 model, kind of sends the message that you don't need to buy a new boat to be competitive and we all know that's just not true.
  2. I wonder if one of the boat companies will get serious and work out a boat deal for the new world champion, he's been doing most of his training behind a very old 200 here in Australia. I hope his phone starts ringing! Well done Joel on a gutsy effort.
  3. Dairy farmers also support their cows while they milk them. Of course Goode suupports the sport but lets not get confused about the why, its good business. We want better equipment and that comes at a price, plenty of people will pay and not think twice.
  4. Fat is way more dangerous . It amazes me how people are afraid of the wrong things like the harmless spider they might see on their way to the fridge (the real killer) The fork and the couch (lounge suite) are a seriously deadlly combination and humans need exercise, fresh air and sun exposure to thrive. Oh yeah, scars give you something to talk about, you can bet a person with scars has been up to some cool shit.
  5. 2.490 - 6.865 - .770 8 wing This range with the stock fin or CG fin works but its way better with the CG. I run it slightly further forward - .800 and push the T-factor as far forward as the holes let me. Ski seems to create a ton of easy space unless you do something really bad.
  6. Personally my heart sinks just a little, maybe its just me.
  7. Same as the Stokes glove right? I've been using them for 2 seasons and would not use anything else, amazing grip and very durable.
  8. How do you find the performance with the MOB? Do you notice any play or roll where the boot connects? Do you notice the height of the plate? The MOB system is interesting but I don't see a lot of skiers using it and I don't know of any pros using the system. Reflex seems to dominate despite the nasty injuries and pre release issues if not well setup or looked after. You would think the door is open for another system to grab market share but it does not appear to be happening.
  9. I thought @Horton was or is currently killing it on a new Denali which I'm pretty sure ships with a GC fin.

    Re-power

Comment was made this season that the pull from my 196 6.0 was more like the new ski nautique than the 200 so there is some food for thought.
  11. @mbabiash you can also get whisper fins on SIA now so you can draw your own conclusions about why that might be.
  12. I just assumed it was his first set behind the new Nautique, that would make perfect sense.
  13. Hows it perform with the ZR4?
  14. Plenty of top skiers using the KD trick
  15. Nice skiing, after a season on the CG fin I can only imagine how good it might be with the new ski. The shorter the line the better it worked creating insane amounts of space, looks like the Adam's have some lightning in a bottle with this combination. Exciting times.
  16. This will not be the death of the sport. Having only one skier on the lake at a time is a bigger problem and you can't get around that without adding lakes. An excess of people waiting around for a set with little to do seems like a bigger problem to me. Lake prices yeah somebody needs to do something about that.
  17. Lets restore some balance
  18. @scuppers I've helped a guy set one up in a Vapor, took some grinding but it works fine.
  19. Jacinta is ok and on her way to Masters but pretty sore. Tough as bricks.
  20. I got radical and taught my son to hang on at young age!
  21. Over the last 3 years I've driven most of her training sets, I've only seen her crash once off the ramp and I think on that day Curtis was at the wheel. She is super consistent so yeah it really sucks right before Masters.
