    I would be willing to bet that my previous boat is rotting in a garage somewhere. I saw it once a week after I sold it and the entire interior was full of snack crumbs, the pure white seats had been stepped on with shoes and covered in little cheeto colored hand prints.

    I personally would not use a manifold that rotted looking - since you don't know when and if it may start leaking internally and fill your engine up with water. In terms of your "how many" - who knows, but I would say that looks horrible for a 10 year old part. The paint is still on my 9 year old manifolds - but they are a completely different style than that - EtxCat.

    @Gloersen - That would be the question. Those manifolds work fine on a Malibu (2004 LXI with a black scorpion) - because I installed a set of them. However that is what the stock manifolds looked like too.

    @Spencer_Shultz - I think you may have explained the color of the new boat. No tube will clash with it.

    @zman sounds like they didn't run the memory wire direct to battery. That is typically 1 of the 2 wires (bilge is other) that bypasses the switch

    Intuition liners pack out when you mold them. I run them in my race boots and they always start out way too tight.

    Just be aware that at the UPS store you are paying the highest possible price for shipping UPS. Not to mention if you use them and have an insurance claim, the money goes to them as the shipper and then you have to get it from them. UPS Store is a franchise. If you ship UPS - go to UPS.com and pay for your shipping there/print label - after googling a promo code. Then you can drop it off at a UPS store but you are still the shipper and have paid a lower price.

    Fwiw, FedEx reliability must vary regionally. Around here they are the slowest and least reliable way to ship things. I groan every time someone ships me something via FedEx because I have absolutely no idea when it will finally show up. If you set up a free shipper account on ups there are typically promo codes that get you a large discount. EASY has been a recent one.

    Main thing it to get the box as small as possible. Dimensional weight is a killer.

    Works fine on my vtx. I figure as long as temp stays in normal range it is fine.

    You need a fake a lake or flush kit if you want to rev it up.

    That is called a single cable rotary helm. You need to find the part number on it so you can get the correct replacement.     The one in my picture from 2016 is still hanging over my desk. Hasn't moved yet.

    Wasn't a lake, but I hit a piece of floating log in the St Croix river (with a ski not the boat)

    The harborage in Ft Myers comes to mind. Not sure if that is considered a waterski community but there is at least one course there.

    What is really weird is that they are missing the last 3 years of property tax records and the most recent assessment they show is almost 400K under the price they are selling for.

    @Wish - good time to sell your own house and skip the agent. My folks sold their place in Naples to a neighbor after mentioning they were going to sell. Neighbor bought it as a place to store a couple or his collector cars and rent out the living space. Never even went on the market. That property does seem like crazy money for a tiny house even in todays market.

    I use the Collinite paste and wipe down with eagle 1 wax as you dry. Keeps the water spots off the half black boat.
