  1. That water is just too darn smooth and slippery to ski on! Seems the more I ski this spring, the harder it is for me to make a 32 mph pass, so I sympathize with you!
  2. This has the potential to be a 100 page topic
  3. Don't know if they still do it but years ago the INT league had a wake board slalom course category. A guy named Ken Bernard was insane on a wake board (like 22+ mph, 28-32 off if I remember). My buddy goes thru the course on a board doing 180's & 360's ball to ball! Here's an old article http://community.seattletimes.nwsource.com/archive/?date=19910702&slug=1292284
  4. Bet your handle is waiting for you at the lake - in my experience gear seldom walks away at a private lake. Maybe contact owner or a regular there if you like your handle?
  5. My wife use lysol laundry sanitizer for my stinky stuff - no bleach so appears to be a gentle product. Ever forget your clothes in the washer for a few days - should be same smell these gloves have and this stuff cleans it up well.
  6. +1 for boosting shower temps on our Nov- March WA ski days!
  7. My daughter's Subaru has the same oil filter set up as shown in that pic
  8. I might also be concerned with water force pulling on the neck brace upon impact and doing more harm than good ...
  9. Exactly why I opted for small animal medicine, not equine
  10. Best of luck to you and Winston from your BOS veterinarian. Hope all goes well. Bet he's a fantastic spotter!
  11. How were they stored? If in doubt send to me & my crew will stress test for you
  12. @Rs350z GLWS my buddy skis better on his two new knees than his two old ones - hope yours are feeling better!
  13. Sounds like an "Old Guys Rule" type of tournament
  14. @buoyboy1 - ok we need to hear the tractor story please
  15. @sodbuster88 @swc5150 when your friends are VERY excited to go skiing, they apparently forget to put the platform pins in (small garage, need to take platform off after each ski) - you know the rest of the story! Kind of similar to forgetting to put in the plug I imagine
  16. I know of a teak platform that was floating just fine until the owner found it with his prop.
  17. Really like the color choice change!
  18. @uwskier my buddy's fiberglass Sportster platform currently resides on the bottom of Bow Lake
  19. As I read all the info on the two fins, I bought myself a slightly early Bday present today. I know zero about changing a ski from it's stock set up; hoping this book won't hurt my brain too much.
  20. We always pull/coil rope into one back corner; never hand coil; handle then handed to next skier and rope pays out as boat idles; never knots. In our Sunsetter with rear seat out the supports form a perfect box to hold the coils.
  21. Malibu Sportster swim platform - hunted for weeks with a fish finder; guess I should have bought a platform finder!
  22. Us old guys carry a 2 gallon can for when the gauge lies!
  23. The temperature spikes have never triggered an alarm?
